The staff were super helpful and always willing and present! The room was terrific and the amenities were phenomenal! Gotta love the Lindt chocolates every day!! The hotel is located in the "old town of Zurich" which is GREAT! Close to shops, restaurants and more - all on cobblestone streets. The positive, and the only draw back is that the hotel is in the middle of the square, so if you like to go to bed early (not us), the noise level might be an issue with the windows open.

I really enjoyed the room with amenities. It had wonderful lighting. Everything was spotless , comfortable and the service incredible. Very close to the train station and 2 trams. Very nice restaurants surrounding the hotel. I would definitely come back.

Lovely hotel, very well maintained, great pillows. It was quite noisy outside though and we had to keep the window and air flowing because it was warm so it was a bit hard to sleep. Highly recommend if you don’t mind the noise.

This was a lovely little hotel right in the centre of Zurich old town. Staff were so helpful from the moment I booked through to check out, they messaged me leading up to my arrival so I knew how to access the property and the staff member that greeted us on arrival was so so lovely (I wish I remembered her name), she gave us cold towels to freshen up after our long journey in and gave us tips for our short stay, it was a great introduction. As we were right in town there was of course some street noise, but we expected that. The beds were comfy, the room was small but had everything we needed. There was a lovely cafe attached to our building which was perfect for breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again!

The only negative was the hotel had temporary air conditioners (we visited 8/31-9/2) which had a hose that had to be put out of the windows. Otherwise, the beds were great and we had a little sitting area that give us more room. Key point for us-the bathroom had a solid wall (not glass) and light switch INSIDE the door, so my spouse was not disturbed by later night visits to the bathroom. Great location in the middle of Old Town. I would stay again.

So positives the staff is outstanding and very accommodating. The property location is outstanding to see old town Zürich. 10 min walk to the main train station. Now the property does not have air conditioning but they provided portable air conditioning to the rooms. The room and the shower are compact so if you are on the big size of things it will be tight. I would recommend for a short stay.

Location was perfectly central and in a lively location. Room attributes were very good, good size, extremely clean, bathroom clean and modern. This hotel has a lift. And most importantly the 2 ladies on front desk were extremely helpful with suggestions and recommendations. A great stay.

Loved this place! Was right in walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, and sights. We stayed in a room that sleeps three, and were pleasantly surprised when we got to our room and had a bottle of wine and a terrace off of our room! We also arrived early and the front desk had no problem holding our bags and even bringing them into the room for us when the room was ready. Would highly recommend!

Good location, fairly quiet considering the fact that it's in the city center. Restaurants, shopping and the river are close, easy walk from the train station. I did not like that the widows are blocked from opening and there is a super noisy portable air conditioning unit in the room. Also, as an international traveler, it's not easy to call the hotel and it would be more helpful if messaging responses were faster, especially on the arrival day

Location is excellant near a very lively plaza. Room is very functional with a mini kitchen and a fridge. We had a window open in to plaza that made it interesting. They are in process of finishing the upgrade of the hotel, so ask for a fan as room tends to be warm

Great location in Old Town, walking distance to everything in downtown Zurich. Fun activity and people watching and close to the water/bridges. We were visiting a friend who lives not far from downtown and also got in on the Zurich Film Festival. Shops and bakeries and restaurants all near bye The resort was clean and the staff very helpful. It was pretty modern for an older building and the room was very well decorated. Great to have a small kitchenette. The elevator did not work, and it was hard for the taxi driver to drop us off at the hotel but after a walk up the cobblestones, we found it. They did however help us with our heavy suitcases in and out of our room! We had a bright clean room and they were great about touching it up daily. A restaurant was right below us and easy to use when we needed breakfast or an afternoon Aperol and didn't want to walk far, but we easily walked all over and used the train station to go to Lucerne and Rapperswil. Air conditioning helpful and a great shower. The staff also helped us get taxi's to a dinner reservation and the airport out so that was most helpful. I would stay there again.

The hotel was in a very good location, very close to everything. The hotel room and bathroom were very small, but I understand, that is normal for Europe. We arrived a the hotel around 11 am, our room wasn't ready yet. We were able to leave our luggage and walk around. We came back at 2:45 pm and the room was still not ready. We were told to come back in 15 min. We did come back in 15 min and the room was ready.

The front office staffs are very friendly. The hotel is very centrally located in the old town with a lot of restaurants in walking distance. The weekend can get a little noisy from the street. The WiFi is extremely unreliable. The room is spacious but Bathroom is very tight can fit one person at the time. We had do no disturb sign on in the morning but housekeeping open the door without even knocking at 8am which is terrible. We were told that some don’t speak English but the sign has a sleeping symbol on it which is universal. Thankfully we were awake and stopped them coming in right away.

Ideally located to explore the city. Spoilt for choice of restaurants and walkable with suitcases to the train station. Take note it doesn’t have a restaurant and breakfast places don’t open early in the morning so one must plan accordingly.

The location is great. There is an air con in the room. There is also a lift to carry the luggage upstairs. Too bad when we checked out, the lift is out of order so we have to carry the luggage downstairs. The room is spacious but the restroom is very small. Overall, I will recommend this hotel.

Underrated lodging….it is located in the heart of Old Town Zurich. The Ass Bar pastry/ coffee shop is steps away. They wisely included window air conditioner…I wouldn’t have survived without it. The price was an amazing value….especially since the majority of your time will be spent enjoying the sights. 😊

We chose this hotel based on previous reviews and location. Staff super friendly and helpful. This week was unusually hot and they had a portable AC in the room which was fantastic. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and you can walk to the train station in 10 minutes or 4 by tram. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again in my next trip to Zurich.
