ABOUT THE SPACE
The Tajar Treehouse sleeps 3 features a plush queen-size bed located in the loft (see note below), one small sleeper sofa, with unique furnishings. Complete with electricity, climate control (oversized Mitsubishi heat & air-conditioning units), and premium linens, this treehouse offers a cozy yet refined sanctuary.
Each treehouse is equipped with a kitchenette (with pour-over coffee maker & coffee, mini fridge/freezer, convection oven, and air fryer) and private outdoor grill and pizza oven, perfect for crafting oven-fired pizzas or grilling a delicious meal under the open sky.
Dinnerware, glassware, bedside lamps, and most of the treehouse furniture were handcrafted by Western North Carolina artisans.
ON-PROPERTY AMENITIES
The on-property experiences at Tuxedo Falls are so special, you might not want to leave. We have five cascading private waterfalls, miles of scenic private hiking trails, a designated swimming hole for cold plunging, on-site private fly fishing, birding, and more.
EXPLORE NEARBY
Nearby towns like Flat Rock (15 minutes), Hendersonville (20 minutes), and Brevard (35 minutes) offer even more—overlook hikes, waterfall adventures, award-winning restaurants, live music, local art, and a vibrant wellness scene all nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
*Please note: One of the chestnut oaks supporting Tajar grows right through the floor—bringing nature literally indoors. It’s part of what makes this treehouse so magical. Because it’s a real, living tree, sometimes you might notice a friendly rain drop or a curious tree-loving insect. Consider it part of the immersive, forest-to-floor experience.
*Please note: Queen Bed is located in the loft accessible by a short but steep ship’s ladder. If you’re comfortable with stairs and ladders, you’ll love waking up among the treetops. If you have mobility limitations or prefer to avoid steep climbs, consider one of our single-floor canvas cabins.
*Please pardon our dust - the lodge is under construction!*
While we’ve worked hard to ensure the construction is minimally disruptive, guests may notice some signs of the ongoing build, such as construction materials, unfinished landscaping, or light daytime work activity near the lodge area. Please don’t expect everything to look pristine or polished just yet — we’re still putting the final touches in place.
That said, all guest accommodations — including our treehouses, tree tents, trails, and outdoor amenities — are fully open and ready for your stay. You’ll still enjoy the peaceful setting, natural beauty, and elevated comfort that make Tuxedo Falls so special.
Thank you for your understanding as we continue to grow!
