「Ferry (Han's friend/helper) was so kind and welcoming. He helped us carry our bags into the boat and oriented us to living on the boat. He even put some drinks in the fridge to welcome us. He was very responsive to questions. The boat was beautiful. You can see a lot of love went into the craftsmanship. The beds were very comfortable - great mattress toppers meant we slept really well! 「Albert is a wonderful communicator and has taken great care to pay attention to detail. The heated bathroom floors were one of our favorite details, but also the porch is a perfect slice of charm, the milk frother for the coffee is a lovely touch, the hidden tv (with Netflix), a great book of neighborhood suggestions…and the bed was very comfortable and large (which is a rare luxury in the area). We can’t wait to stay again next year.」

「Check in was amazingly simple. Great location and easy access to get to the Centraal station and the city walking (5 minutes). Loved everything about the place.」

「Wer schon immer mal auf einem alten Binnenschiff sein wollte, der hat bei Lydia und Uhuru genau diese tolle Möglichkeit. Die beiden sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, geben Tipps für Amsterdam und Umgebung und lassen einen teilhaben am Leben auf dem Wasser. Die De Hoop ist klasse, man hat sein eigenes kleines Reich und der Kaffee schmeckt morgens in der Steuerkabine mit herrlichen Rundumblick einfach nur noch besser.
