The gîte is situated right on its bank, and its living room offers a breathtaking view of this body of water. Depending on the season, the place offers very different atmospheres. The owners have completely reimagined the spaces of this lovely building with its white stone walls. From the kitchen to the bedrooms, including the unique staircase, the wood and metalwork is remarkable. The interior features a truly original design, such as the sloping wall serving as a partition with an integrated bookcase display... brilliant! Just outside Valognes, a town of Art and History, this beautiful property can accommodate two families.

There were five of us visiting the Normandy area for five days. The house was as great as the pictures depict. It is located in an area of beauty, and is a short drive to all the Normandy sites. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would ever need. It is a very comfortable place to relax and wind down after a day of exploring.
