Vibrant Depot Town Loft

You will love this bright loft with 360 degrees of exposed brick, 12 foot ceilings, and large windows! You will enjoy cooking in the brand new kitchen and cleanup is easy with a full sized dishwasher! Just steps from Hyperion Coffee, Thompson Co., Aubree’s pizza and so many other great spots! This loft is a brand new space set in a historic building that was originally a hotel in 1839, then barracks used for the civil war in 1862. Come be a part of this amazing history!

At over 650 Square feet, this loft packs a punch! Take the elevator or the stairs up to the second floor and the apartment is down the hall! Enjoy a city style studio room and living room combined! Enjoy luxury linens, a brand new king bed, and plush bath robes. The kitchen is fit to cook a full meal, although you may find yourself ordering in from the Thompson Co below! Stop at mash for an amazing cocktail! Kick back on the comfy couch and turn on your favorite Netflix show! No luxuries have been overlooked!

You will have the entire space to yourself! The loft is an apartment home in the brand new Thompson Block building in the heart of depot town. Enjoy Chicago loft living right here in Ypsilanti! You will enjoy seamless keypad entry into both the building and the loft!

PLEASE NOTE: This apartment is directly above Mash Bar. Mash bar is open Thursday -Saturday from 6pm-1am. There is usually live music playing and the sounds transfers considerably. Please keep this in mind if you are a light sleeper or hoping to go to bed at an early time on any of these weekdays.

This space features a dedicated parking spot on the premises. There is ample uber, Lyft and bus transportation as well as plenty to do within walking distance!

Beautiful location

I've stayed here in the past and this location is outstanding. Nice and comfy with enough room to move around with no issues! The interior is absolutely gorgeous and checking in was a breeze. The surrounding location is surrounded with eateries so you won't have any issues grabbing any food. Please do yourself a favor and stay here, you won't regret it!

Great Location

The loft was clean and very comfortable. Excellent parking. Close to EMU. It is within walking distance to several great restaurants and bars. We actually enjoyed hearing the music from below. This was a great alternative to staying in a hotel.

Up for Texas Mich game

Great location close to Ann Arbor , fun little town , great bars and restaurants . Loft was petfect , very clean and walking distace to lots of great places .

Perfect Location

Beautiful, well-stocked, apartment in a fantastic location right in Depot Town. Easy walk to restaurants and a couple of blocks from the food co-op if you want to cook. Checking in and out was easy and the owners were friendly and communicative. As noted in the listing, you can definitely hear music and bar noise starting on Thursday nights, but overall this was a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful location!

I've been here many of times, please do yourself a favor and please stay here. You won't regret it at all. Beautiful interior that'll make you feel right at home. Everything you'd need is nearby and in walking distance. Only small downside is you might hear some noise from the restaurant down below from music being played. But noise don't really bother me so it wasn't an issue at all. This is the perfect location!

Lovely place! Be sure you love live music on thr weekend. It is above a whiskey bar.

This rental was Amazing and as described however the location above the bar and music on the weekends was not in the description. As a retired couple we would have chosen differently. The music waa loud and lasted 4 hrs and again wasnt expected. I spoke to Micah and he is was very understanding and welcomed positive and less then positive feedback. He will add to description and provide us compensation for our not so relaxing night. Again we would recommend and we appreciated a very gracious host.

Clean bright - and noisy

There was a lot to like about this rental, it was new and clean. The kitchen seemed adequate (we didn’t cook so I can’t comment further) and the complimentary coffee was appreciated. Nice bathroom with a good shower, the robes were a nice touch. Now the bad: the bed. While it had good bedding it had a divot in the middle, turns out the middle frame support was screwy. Finally there was the NOISE. Besides the train screaming past multiple times, the unit is directly over a bar, and loud music went on until closing. At the end, can not recommend.

10/10 - Comfy, Clean and Courteous

We had a great time staying here for a week. Micah was a great host. He kept in touch multiple times thru the week asking if we needed anything. We realized a few days in that we only had 2 towels. We messaged him and he had 2 more dropped off for us. We knew about the bar with live music before booking, and figured we could do something on those nights to stay out later. On Saturday night, we weren't out too late, so we heard the music below, but it happened to be a jazz band of some sort, so it wasn't really loud. And they ended well before 1am, so it worked out well for us. I think if you can plan to stay up or be out until 12-1am on those nights you'll be fine. There is a train that runs next to the building a few times a day/night. I'm a light sleeper, and it woke me up, but my wife slept through it. But the king sized bed was so comfy I was able to go right back to sleep. The shower had plenty of water pressure, and would get hot quickly. The kitchen had plenty of cooking dishes and utensils, which we used numerous times. And we could throw everything in the dishwasher to clean them. The dedicated parking space is very close to the entrance. But we didn't have to leave often, as there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Overall we had a fantastic time and will definitely book again when we're visiting the area.

the lift was everything like it was supposed to be my only thing was i cook need a few more pots to cook with and some extra trash bags to reline the can loved my stay will visit again

Super cute apartment above a bar/restaurant. We are at the restaurant under it the first night, and the food is really good. The first night we stayed there was a Tuesday, so the bar was closed. The second night it was open and kind of loud but closed at midnight so nothing crazy. Love the apartment. I missed an email from the owner with the door code, but he responded quickly. Super cute neighborhood with walking to lots of shops and restaurants.
