Nice amenities, but beer garden next door

Pluses: Cute, clean little unit with nice amenities, friendly helpful staff. Minuses: If you are sensitive to noise, you should know that this is right next to a pub with a beer garden, and they played loud music with patrons singing along enthusiastically until 9:30 on the night I was there. After that, a little quieter, but noise was noticeable up until 11 PM or so. AC control didn't work, which meant I had to open the skylight, which let in more sound from the adjacent pub.

Upmarket but poor position and service

Good quality apartment but difficult to get in even after 2pm. No text message received and maid was in one of apartments but not answering door. Phoned company and she came out but wanted us to go away for a while. We stayed and she finished cleaning. One side is a building site and other a pub garden hence the ear plugs supplied. Very noisy on a Saturday night.

Tolle Lage, praktisch & gemütlich

Super Lage (Nähe Bahnhof, Pubs um die Ecke) und modern eingerichtet. Es ist nicht groß, aber schick und praktisch. Das Zahlenschloss ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und der Code sollte etwas früher verschickt werden (nicht erst nach der Check-In-Zeit). Wir waren aber sehr zufrieden.

Great compact apartment

Can't recommend this place highly enough. Great location, easy to find, parking and it was so clean. The young lady who was on site was so helpful, she is an asset to this place. Will definitely stay here again when in York.

York Christmas Shopping Trip

Had a wonderful stay at York Apart Hotel. Literally 2 minutes away from the train station. All within walking distance of all the local sights and shopping locations. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends.

Beautiful apartment and great owners. Would recommend to everybody! Central to York city center, prefect location. Only let down was the construction noise that started at 8:30am.

Want a quiet night. Don't stay here!!

The accommodation looks amazing both inside and out. A few pieces need some tlc, like cupboard doors screwed on properly, stains on carpets etc. Overall looks good and comfortable..... However if you find your sleep precious like I do, don't stay here! From about 10pm to 2.30am the bars near by become party central with arguments, girls screaming and bottles being emptied into the glass bin. If your up for a party then this is the place for you!! Also didn't get a couple of the complimentary items others have received. It states subject to availability in welcome text....not sure how difficult it is to get milk and biscuits. If not going to provide don't state it.

The property was spacious with separate living room and kitchen downstairs and the bedroom and shower room upstairs. It is in a safe location but can be noisy as it's situated between two bars. However, you are in the centre of York! Some of the light fittings were coming off the wall in the bedroom but everything else was great. Will be visiting again.

Door's access code hadn't been provided in advance. I arrived at the place and I had no idea to whom to contact for accessing the apartment that I had already paid... The telephone number provided was the centralized one on the Hotels.com and i couldn't reach the owner of that place. I was so desperate that I looked for a room at the hotel opposite to that place and I'm grateful to the receptionist at Hampton's who assisted me on finding the owner on the phone after 30 minutes of trying. The owner claimed that he tried to reach me out via sms but the only sms that i received from a UK mobile phone was someone who is asking me to send my credit card number.... no instructions or whatsoever have been communicated in advance. The area was also very noisy and I wouldn't recommend that place to anyone that I know.
