Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time at Rose Star cottage. It was very clean and we loved sitting on the porch. Excellent location for a family-short walk to the lighthouse and Dunne’s ice cream. We enjoyed dinner at Fox’s lobster house right next door as well.

Fun off season stay!

We rented this space for family to stay over Thanksgiving. It was the perfect spot to spend the weekend! The cottage is roomy and well-appointed, and the views are unmatched. The hosts were also super easy to work with and very communicative. Highly recommend!!

We had a great stay at the Rose Cottage at the Nubble Lighthouse. I love the area and the location was amazing. The cottage had plenty of room for us all and was very comfortable. I had a few questions at the beginning of our stay, and the response time was immediate.

Adorable cottage is walking distance to many restaurants and waterfront views and Nubble Lighthouse. Close to some fantastic small towns very nearby. Host is friendly and lives nearby. Be sure to eat at Foxys and go see a play at Ogunquit playhouse!

Great Cottage

Great little cottage and convenient location. My family and I have been coming to Maine for four decades and have stayed in many houses/cottages. This was a clean and comfortable cottage. The host was a pleasure to deal with and made sure we had the perfect stay. Location is an A+ and only a short drive to the beach.

Beautiful Location . But the back porch which faces the ocean has two huge Spruce trees directly in front of the left side & right side windows. They block almost all of the view. It’s an easy fix to cut back below the window well or simple to replace them,

Perfect Maine Vacation Experience

We can't say enough about our stay at Rose Star Cottage. The cottage was immaculately clean, and ready for us. The location provided the quintessential New England vacation, with seafood galore, and plenty to do and see within a short drive, and in some instances, a short walk. The hosts - Phyllis & Steve were just terrific! I don't hesitate in the least to highly recommend this spot.

Paradise at the Nubble

Myself, aunt and sister in-law stay at the cottage this spring and fell in love. It was quiet and had amazing views of the rocky coastline and the Nubble Lighthouse right there. My sister in-law walked to both short sands and long sands beach so close to everything. Being right next to Fox's Lobster House an extra bonus with amazing food and friendly staff. We will be back thanks for the amazing stay.

Lovely cottage by the sea

The cottage is only a few meters from the ocean, and a short walk from the parking lot by Nubble Light. It has a full-size washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable. There was a surprise ice storm just before we arrived, and the owners, from Florida, arranged for the steps to be cleared and salted before we got back from dinner. I have allergies, and there were no air fresheners or other perfumes. We were very happy.

Great access to Nubble Light

The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a really charming, clean, well furnished cottage. Just a 2 min. stroll across a parking lot puts you at one of Maine’s most beloved landmarks— Nubble Lighthouse. And from the cottage it’s an easy drive to all Southern Maine has to offer, including Ogunquit and the Ogunquit Playhouse. Dedicated, off-street parking also makes things easier. We plan to return.

Can’t say enough good things!

Excellent location, clean and inviting property, wonderful view of the ocean, Phyllis and her team quickly resolved two minor issues that arose during our stay; they had the coffee maker swapped out for a new one and they had the Wifi restored both within 5 minutes of sending Phyllis a message through Verbo App. (Fairly certain it was our 4 year old that turned off the WIFI). They are very responsive which we really appreciated. Prior to going on vacation I put a special request to Phyllis to have sunflowers on the dining table to greet us when we arrived and there they were waiting for us upon arrival; and then another bigger and better bouquet of sunflowers arrived on our front porch dining table on the second day!! The grounds were well maintained and we loved how nestled the cottage felt with massive hydrangea trees surrounding it. We enjoyed having our own dedicated parking space to come “home” to each day also. The close proximity to Fox’s Lobster House, Dunne’s Ice Cream, and the Nubble Lighthouse all within a stones throw was so nice; especially having young kids we didn’t have to lug out the stroller every time. Thanks to Phyllis and her team we had a blessed, relaxing and enjoyable week on the Nubble. God bless you all. Thanks again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rose Star Cottage! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Nubble Lighthouse. The cottage was clean and well-equipped, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The cottage was very comfortable, and the screened-in porch was a nice bonus. The host was very accommodating and had excellent communication from beginning to end of our rental. We would definitely recommend this cottage for a relaxing and beautiful getaway!
