Beautiful location had a couple visitors just what we needed after losing my mother inlaw a few days before so peaceful being by the water and gave us time to recoup before heading home for her celebration of life

1st visit to Maine, loved the Nubble light views. A two to three minute walk to an amazing view.Cabana was clean and comfortable, wife loved the landscape flowers. Had a wonderful, pleasant stay.Would not hesitate staying again.Plus, every person we interacted with in Maine was courteous and polite.We will be back.

Views of Nubble Lighthouse

We truly enjoyed the stay- especially the proximity to Nubble Lighthouse. From the porch it is a perfect view and we were close to food, snacks and ice cream as well. The house was great and the location was perfect!

Best vacation in a long time

This place is perfect as advertised. We enjoyed the view and seabreeze from the patio each morning and night. The walk to ice cream was enjoyable as was the short drive to Short Sands beach. Great communication throughout.

Wonderful View!

This little cottage was perfect for viewing “my” absolutely favorite place in the world…Cape Neddick Lighthouse- or as we know it, Nubble Light. Cottage had plenty of room for my husband and with another couple would still be spacious. It had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We always enjoy off season visits to York…little traffic and fewer people. 😁 Thanks to Phyllis and her quick communication.

Very CUTE!

It was too short of a stay. We will be back for sure. Glad to see they are open year round as we are fequent visitors all year. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. Loved hearing about the history of the property.

Perfect seaside escape

I highly recommend Phyllis’ cottage- it’seven better than described, & the photos don’t do it justice. We were delighted with both the location and comforts of the cottage, enjoyed relaxing within, and the chance to do laundry, after several days on the road, as well as the proximity to the lighthouse and neighborhood walks. We cooked for ourselves in the fully equipped kitchen, and also had a delicious dinner at The Lobster House right next door. Do stop in at is Dunne’s ice cream, just up the street (we justified our hot fudge sundaes with a brisk walk over to Short Sands- good for a bit of souvenir shopping too )

Relaxing Getaway

Very pretty, cozy, comfy, peaceful cottage; enjoyable in every way and had everything I could need. Plenty of windows for views and sunshine. Enjoyed the views and area so much that I shelved the hiking and x country ski plans (Harris Farms in Dayton) preferring long walks to the beaches in either direction or the short walk to Nubble Lighthouse. The hosts are warm, welcoming and have a spirit of generosity - Available for any needs and quick to respond. I also enjoyed hearing about the history of how things came to be. Thank you again so much for sharing your cottage!

Absolutely perfect!

10/10 recommend! Phyllis was an excellent hostess. Most of our time in the cottage was spent in the sunroom facing the ocean and the light house. Absolutely stunning views of the sunrise. The cottage backs up to Fox’s lobster house which concerned us at first. The crowd is low key and it closes early so it worked out. Highly recommend the lobster roll and blueberry pie at Fox’s! I enjoyed 4-5 mile runs each morning with a fantastic route through the neighborhood to long sands beach. This place is the best of the best!

First Try

We visit Maine every year, and this is the first time we decided to stay a little further south. Wow what an experience! You can see Nubble Lighthouse from the front living room all day (and night) long. Partner that with beaches, shopping, and anything you could need writhing 15 minutes of driving and this is a true winner! The hosts are so accommodating and friendly. When we could not locate a hair dryer, we had one within ten minutes, and even on a rainy day Phyllis was quick to text and offer some board games if we were planning to stay in for the day. Fantastic hosts and property, we will definitely be back!

Perfect Lighthouse Cottage

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. The cottage is clean and has everything you need. The view of the ocean and lighthouse is spectacular. I wasn’t sure how good the view would be, but oh my goodness … our expectations were exceeded many times over. Also, Phyllis was a pleasure. We had mentioned we had a 2 year old and when we arrived, she’d placed a sweet little play kitchen in the cottage for our daughter. We were blown away and that really did make a huge difference for her to have something to play with everyday after we’d been out and about. I could not recommend this cottage more!! We would love to stay again!!

Great location, beautiful view

We had an amazing stay at the property. I woke up daily to watch the sunrise over the lighthouse, it was beautiful and so very peaceful. The front porch is inclised with windows that slide open. We actually would sit out their most of the time and have breakfast and even do our makeup all because it was so peaceful. One morning in addition to all the birds flying and chirping, we saw a deer come up and was in the front yard. Even their landscaping was beautiful. We loved our stay, I am already planning on taking my husband back. One minor detail...we couldnt find an iron/ironing board which we desperately needed. Thanks Tisha

Peaceful Perfection

This was my 2nd time at this property and I must say it is PEACEFUL PERFECTION!! My husband and I were at our breaking point of stress from work and a year of illnesses with our aging parents. We booked the house for a whole week and watched the beautiful sunrises every morning. We spent the evenings sitting on the benches in front of the lighthouse just listening to the waves crash along the rocks. We were able to decompress and recharge our hearts and souls. The house is just perfect, the front porch provides amazing views as you sit in the comfort of privacy. The kitchen is well stocked, as we made many meals while there. The beds are comfortable and the living room has plenty of space to relax. I can't say enough about how much we love this property. It is also very centrally located. We can be at Short Sands Beach or Long Sands Beach within 5 to 10 minutes. Also very close to many shops and several restaurants. Not to mention Fox's is right next door and has amazing food. And the BEST BLUEBERRY PIE in Maine. 5 stars all the way....book this property you wont be disappointed. Tisha

Magnificent Views

The cottage was perfect. We truly enjoyed our stay. We had a front porch view to the Nubble Light House. The area was bustling with activity which made it great to people watch. The sunrises and sunsets were stunning.
