Country house living and feel of invited guests
Lovely house with charming grounds, all rooms different but spacious, superb freshly cooked to order breakfast, and other food on request.
Exceptional hospitality and although a very short stay we were made to feel like guests of friends rather than clients.
A lovely and historic building and grounds, the hosts [owners] obviously working hard to maintain the elegance, history and charm of a country house residence rather than just another hotel and they deserve every success as the love and passion they have for providing service and satisfaction to their guests is obvious and infectious.

Great experience
From the moment we arrived we were treated like we were in a home from home. We were shown around the hall and given details about the history. Then we were shown to a beautiful room with a gorgeous bathroom. It felt that we were guests on a country house weekend. Breakfast was delicious and sourced locally.

The breakfast was very fresh as it had been ordered the night before. The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfy. The owners greeted us on arrival and interestingly gave us a potted history of the beautiful building that they are obviously very proud of. We were made very welcome with a cup of tea and coffee on arrival. We had dinner that evening too
