「Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again」

「Wir waren 2 Wochen auf der abgelegenen Farm und haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Man hört natürlich gelegentlich die Schafe. Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz und ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist wunderschön. Bis nach Keswick fährt man ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto. Matthew, der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich. We spent 2 weeks on the outlying farm and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Of course you can hear the sheep occasionally. The house offers plenty of space and is lovingly furnished....

「Amazing property . Loved the carved wood ceilings and wood panelled walls not to mention the secret door. Never seen so many books outside a library. unfortunately didn’t stay long enough to read any. Also a vast selection of DVDs. 「We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!」

「This is such a special place to stay. Views are absolutely stunning and the house is delightful. Loved the bedrooms. But if you're used to wide, flat Western Australian roads like we are, just be aware the drive up is not for the fainthearted! Wished we had longer to stay, would definitely come back if we had the opportunity, this was our favourite of all the places we stayed in the UK. 」
