A beautiful property, well maintained, clean and in a good part of the city.

Overall excellent, great room, great view, great dining. The hotel is very new. Just make sure to book the south tower hotel. Be aware there are hotels under the same name at the train station, this one is the south hotel.

Great place

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Some spoke English very well. Breakfast buffet was outstanding with traditional Japanese dishes along with American style items including a cook to order omelette chef.

Very well located to the boat leading to the Miyajima island. Great Japanese restaurant on the 20th floor.

While the property is 30 years old, it retains its focus on guest service. Plenty of amenities, including spa, pool, health club. Included if on club floor. Also a convenience store and wonderful service. Rooftop restaurant and other restaurants. Breakfast was included for me. I feel it was an excellent value. The location can’t be better. Walkable to Peace Memorial Museum and Atomic Bomb Dome.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Onsen had a nice view. Dinner was delightful. Hotel was nicely decorated and had a nice feel about it. All staff wqs eager to help or assist with any requests

Our first trip to Hiroshima, so obviously our first trip to this hotel. Great location, easy to walk to streetcar stops, convenience stores, Peace Center, restaurants. Hotel has a very welcoming check-in area on the 14th floor, which has a panoramic view of the downtown Hiroshima area. We enjoyed complimentary drinks and snacks as we watched the sun set. The property was exquisite and the view was wonderful. Also, the breakfast was the best and the staff can't be beaten. This hotel was within close walking distance of the train station and trolley. This made navigating very easy.

This place amazingly Clean and modernized. I love how they give out amenities at the reception area. They even have an osen, only issue is that I needed to cover my tattoos (which is fine, I respect the culture - thankfully the reception desk gives out concealing stickers for your tattoos). I wished I could have stayed there longer

The location of JR West Via Inn is great as it is in a very short walking distance from Hiroshima Station. The room was good and it was a decent size for Japan. Their laundry was very good and useful. I will stay here again!

Coming from the US and wanting to experience a Japanese style hotel, we thought that this would be a nice one to try. We were planning to spend one night in Hiroshima and visit Miyajima as well. The location and the fact that this hotel hotel has private bathrooms were key factors in our choice (communal bathrooms aren't for us). From the outside, this looks like an ordinary hotel. A good stay in Hiroshima at the Mercure - centrally located and about a 20min walk from the train station or take a short tram ride from the station. One thing that drew us to this hotel was the washer/dryer combo in the room. They also provide detergent. We were able to get three loads of laundry done BUT it takes approx 3.5hrs for each load (washing and drying) so plan accordingly. The hotel is immaculate and staff are very polite. The location is ideal as it is directly across the street from the ferry. The shopping street and the famous Itsukushima Shrine is just a short walk away. I stayed in a room that had the bed in an upstairs loft. Things to consider if you book this room are the stairs are pretty steep and it’s not a small flight of stairs. Excellent service, great facilities, restful stay. I cannot recommend this location of Green Rich highly enough. We arrived around 6PM with a tired baby, and check in was smooth and friendly. We were grateful to be able to upgrade to a larger room, and the pillow selection (available to all rooms by selecting a memory foam or comfort pillow from the hallway shelves) was a nice touch.
