似てる名前の別ホテルに注意
西安空港からのリムジンバスがつく地下鉄五路口駅から歩いて行ける距離でレベルの高いホテルをと思い探しました。欧米資本は他にありましたが朝食が別料金のところが多く、ここは朝食込みの料金でしたのでここにしました。格安価格で宿泊できる日程でした。 Hotels.comの地図の位置とは少しずれています。東新街（通りの名前）を歩くと通りに面してソフィテルホテルがあります。そこに校門や裁判所の門みたいなものがあって、当ホテルはそこから見えるさっきとは別のソフィテルホテルの裏に位置しています。敷地の中にはグランドメルキュールのほかにメルキュールホテルもあり、名前が似ていてこんがらがります。門を入ったすぐに地図があり、それぞれの建物の名前が書かれていますので参考にしてください。 ホテル館内は格式高い感じ。広い廊下の横長の建物。部屋は広く落ち着く。 Wi-Fiはパスワードなしの自動接続。中国規制はもちろんあるが、それ以外はさくさくつながります。 ＮＨＫも視聴可能です。 浴室はバスタブあり。お湯も豊富に出ます。問題なし。 朝食はフランス系とあって、パンが充実しているほか、オムレツち・麺料理のシェフがいるほか、中華系を中心に充実なラインナップ。 朝食会場で見た限りですが、中国人の宿泊客が多いようでした。日本人・欧米系は数人でした。

夕方到着してすぐに英語が分かるスタッフから丁寧に美味しいjiang jiang麺の場所を教えてもらいました。お陰様で西安での最初の食事は最高に美味しく頂きました。 また私が廊下？で落とした財布もすぐに見つけて連絡してくださった女性スタッフお二人、yoya?さんたちにも感謝しています。 4人初めての西安の旅でした。本当にありがとうございました。

外資系でサービスも充実
西安城内の中心部。「人民大厦」という社会主義を象徴するようなビルの一角にある外資ホテル。周辺は省政府の巨大なビルなどが連なる一帯になっている。このクラスの５つ星ホテルは北京、上海などではなかなか泊まれないが、西安は地方都市だけに少し安くなっている。部屋や浴槽のあるバスルーム、NHKも映るテレビなども日本人には嬉しいサービス。朝食のビュッフェもメニュー豊富で果物、野菜類も充実。同じ敷地内にソフィテルの別のホテルもあった、日本料理店もある。欲を言えばもう少し足回りが良ければ申し分ないところ。いちばん近い地下鉄駅の五路口までは徒歩15分ほど。タクシーは呼べばすぐ来てくれる。フロントのスタッフは外資系だけあってサービスのレベルは高い。

ＧＷに三連泊
５月３日から三連泊。 ２泊目の夜中に部屋に蚊がいて刺されたため、コンシェルジュに電話をかけると、同じタイプの同じ階の部屋に変更してもらえた。 両替のレートも悪くなく、 西安駅からは徒歩15～20分の距離ではあるが、滞在者には問題ない立地かと思う。

落ち着いた立地で快適に過ごせました。 従業員の対応が大変良かったです。 気になった点が二点あります。まず風呂の排水口の一つが劣化しており、黒カビのような不純物が出てきました。また部屋が全体的に暗かったです。

安く品が良いホテル
五路口最寄りですが10分は歩きます。まだ地下鉄が3本しか走っていないため仕方ないでしょう。回族街までは20分かかりました。いずれにせよ、施設は充実し、旧市街内のため、便利良いです。

素晴らしいホテルです
夜の遅い到着でしたが、フロントの方の対応は素晴らしく、食事場所の案内やタクシーの手配など的確に応えてくれました。 周辺の環境も静かで、朝の散歩も快適でした。部屋も清潔感があり、清掃も行き届いていました。 2泊宿泊しましたが、2日目の朝食は隣のソフィテルを案内いただき、飽きることなく楽しめました。 朝食も充実しており、部屋、環境、食事共に価格以上の満足感がありました。 また西安に訪問の際は利用します。

古くてステキですが部屋が寒いです。 ヒーターを貸してくれました。
ここの経営のホテルは良く使いますが、お国柄フランス系が多いので旅の雰囲気がでますね。 価格的にグーだと思います。

初めての西安、城郭内旧市街の歴史的建築である人民ホテルの裏にひっそりと佇むアネックスを見事にリノベーションしたこのホテルを選びました。魅力的なエントランスロビー、高い天井の美しい部屋、随所に感じられるデザインセンス、暖かい適切なフロントの人たち。リーズナブルな価格でこのクオリティはとても満足でした。これ以上なくオススメです。

居心地よいホテル
ホテルの客室は清潔である。シャンプーなどのほかに，バスローブ，金庫，スリッパなどのそろっており，十分なアメニティーである。インターネットも無料で使えた。朝食はホテル内のレストランで取ったが，十分な内容である。滞在するには，値段以上の快適なホテルである。ただタバコのにおいが廊下にする（客室からしみだす？）のは頂けない。

バスは最高。部屋に入れば快適に落ち着けます
場所が良いというコメントがあった決めたが、西安駅にも鐘楼にも歩くには遠く、タクシーを拾うのにも苦労した。門から広い庭園の中に４つのホテルがあり、このホテルは一番奥の場所に位置していた。 しかし門を出て左に行くとすぐバス停があり、駅にはすぐ行けるし、鐘楼にも簡単に行けることが判明した。603のバスが駅にも鐘楼にも2階建てバスでありおすすめ。 バスは1元、ワンマン ホテルの部屋、備品は、新しいとはいえないが落ち着いたつくりで何でも揃っていた。 ＬＡＮ、無線、体重計、ヘアドライヤー、バスローブ等 ただしアメニティは、今一つ。 テレビは8番でＮＨＫが映る。 バス、シャワーがトイレと別室でバスタブが広くて深いので落ち着いて湯船につかえた。 シャワーの水の出とても良い（ポイント高し） サービスは、お願いすればとても気持ちよく対応してくれる。ただし、日中は従業員が フロントにも見当たらないことが多い。 お客様も少なかったようだ。その分、ゆったりとして窓から見える広い庭園などもあり 気持ち的には快適だった。 ※英語は通じたが日本語を話せる従業員はいないようだった。 ある程度西安の地理を頭に入れてからなら非常に良い場所であった。 次回も西安に行くならこのホテルにする可能性が高い。

また泊まりたいです。
メルキュールは部屋の色や調度が落ち着いていて好きなのですが、ここもメルキュールということでそこを期待して予約しました。部屋は広くはありませんが（中国のホテル水準ということで日本のホテルとの比較ではありません）、一人ユースでしたので十分でした。落ち着いていて、とてもコージーなホテルです。立地が良く、城壁の中心にあるのでどこに行くのもアクセスが楽です。大学のキャンパスのようなところにあり、通りの喧騒から隔絶していています。外観は古色蒼然として、外観だけでも値打ちがありますよ。 私は中国語ができないのですが、フロントの人の英語のレベルが高く、意思疎通に不便は感じませんでした。対応もよく、フロントには好感が持てました。 余談ですが、エクスチェンジレートはホテルが一番良かったです。

Felt great staying this place
I think this was the best stay in the whole China trip for me. I enjoyed the place, shower & bath, comfortable bed, breakfast, and hospitality staff. The location was a bit distanced from the station but taxi makes a big difference to come back here. I wish Japanese restaurant was open but I enjoyed the Chinese restaurant at Sofitel as well.

오래 된 숙소였음에도 객실 상태는 무난했습니다. 다만 객실 시설(냉장고, 전등스위치 등)의 조치가 필요한 점이 있었습니다. Accor Hotel 단지로 이루어져 있으며 전철역에서 걸어서 10분정도에 위치하고 있어서 교통이 편리했습니다. 직원들의 영어는 조금 부족하지만 친절하였으며, 투숙 기간에 발생했던 문제에도 최선을 다해 도와줬습니다.

awful female facilities at shared pool
Grand Mercury is a beautiful old world hotel with dark wooden decor in the rooms. We checked in easilly. I was a little disappointed to find out that all the restaurants and swimming pool were not in this hotel, they were within a complex of hotels and you had to cross the grounds to access the other hotels facilities. Eg the Italian restaurant in one restaurant and the bar and pool within the Sofitel which wasn’t great in depths of winter. The main negative therefore isn’t about this hotel but the changing rooms at Sofitel swimming pool. At first its very elegant, but when you enter female changing rooms it’s like a 1980s council provided changing room. Nowhere to hang your towel while you shower, no costume dryer, dilapidated fixtures with wallpaper mouldy and peeling. However my husband advises me the men’s was plush, had its own hot tub, sauna and massage beds. It makes one wonder about the type of establishment it is and the services provided, clearly more geared towards male travellers

We did not like that there was not a restaurant onsite except for breakfast, but the breakfast was excellent and they did have evening room service. I am in a wheelchair and there was a ramp into the hotel and easy access to the restaurant. The staff was fabulous, the room was wonderful and it is central if you are a walker.

Nice, but small rooms (we had a queen). No restaurant in this hotel - except a breakfast buffet for extra $. There are restaurants in the Renmin Square complex which has multiple hotels grouped together. Pleasant enclave.

不錯的飯店
飯店是具有歷史意義的建築，能與西安的城市氛圍相互融合。雖位在市中心，但與熱鬧大街又稍有間隔，鬧中取靜卻又不失便利性，到西安市內各熱門景點，打車大概都能在10分鐘內到達，如用步行也不超過三十分鐘。客房雖有點舊但維護算不錯，客房清潔也做的很好。前台、客房服務人員服務態度不錯，但大廳跟餐廳服務員的服務態度(訓練)，就顯得有參差不齊，可能這二部分的管理需再加強。總整的結果還是願意推薦本飯店，給想到西安旅遊的朋友！

All in all we had a nice time staying at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful although twice the directions we asked for led us to somewhere else than requested so maybe some was lost in translation. Room decor is a bit dated and worn but it was clean and gave an ambience of Classical Chinese design. Hotel is located in a gated community type structure with other brands of the hotel chain containing some nice restaurants and bars.

This hotel was amazing on all accounts....service, location, price and comfort! An absolute jewel.

Comfortable Stay
Comfortable stay, room decor is outdated but clean. Check in fast, Hotel service is friendly and try to accommodate my request for local tour to Terracotta warriors. Good location, walk 25 minutes to Bell and Drum tower.
