Tiny vacation rooms at the Marschenhof riding stables

  • A small apartment with two beds, small kitchen and bathroom. Quiet location 300m from the Xanten North Sea.
    It is possible to take your own horse with you. We also offer riding lessons for beginners and advanced.

    The Xanten leisure center, local recreation area in Xanten on the Lower Rhine is a few meters from the apartment and offers many activities. At the heart of the leisure center are two sports and leisure harbors in the Wardt and Vynen districts, a water ski facility and two lakes connected by a canal, each with a water surface of around 110 hectares and a maximum depth of 15 m. The northern lake is known as the Xanten North Sea, the southern one as the Xanten South Sea. There you will find a snack bar and a good restaurant right on the shore.

Die Wirtin haben wir nicht kennengelernt. Die Wohnung über 2 Etagen verfügte über eine Treppe,die nicht durch ein Geländer abgesichert war. Das Bad lag vorgelagert auf einem Flur auf dem noch die schmutzige Bettwäsche lag, der Flur wurde als Zugang zu anderen Räumen benutzt und war mit Zigaretten Qualm geräuchert. Im Bad wären nicht ausreichend Handtücher vorhanden. Die Küche verfügte weder über Kaffeemaschine noch einen Toaster. Ich hätte mir auch eine etwas gepflegere Umgebung auf dem Hof gewünscht. Von FeWo direkt hatte ich mir im Vorfeld mehr Informationen zu der Wohnung gewünscht.

Toilette und Dusche ist getrennt von der Unterkunft. Kein Mückenschutznetz im Schlafraum, war unmöglich da zu schlafen. Nach der zweiten Nacht musste ich leider abreisen. Küche und Kühlschrank, Spühlmaschine musste erst gewaschen werden. Kommunikation mit der Vermitterin war mangelhaft, beim abreisen konnte nicht kontaktiert werden, da WLAN funktionierte nicht. Tut mir sehr leid, aber so einen Unterkunft habe noch nicht erlebt und nicht zu weiter empfehlen. Ich wünschte mir mehr Sauberkeit, Genauigkeit der Unterkunftbeschreibung und bessere Kommunikation. LG

Prima Unterkunft, schöne Lage

Wir waren zum Kurzurlaub in Xanten. Die Lage des Hofes ist gut gelegen alle Unternehmungen, sei es Stadterkundung oder Natur. Momentan wird der Hof in Teilen umgebaut, die Zimmer sind schon fertig mit neuen sanitären Anlagen, mit urigem Charme und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns bei der Familie sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.
