「Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery!
The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.」

「Easy place to find. Parking on site. Helpful and friendly staff. Room was comfortable.
Evening meals and breakfast were good.
Only negative comment to add is that it would be nice to be able to check in before 6pm on days the pub is closed until then.」
