「This was a perfect place for us to stay for our daughter’s wedding in Ararat, NC. We were able to totally relax here! The cabin was extremely clean and well decorated, right down to the cabinet knobs! The hot tub was wonderful and worker perfectly! The view from the porch swing was stunning and we drank our coffee there every morning. We totally enjoyed our visit and hope to return for a longer stay!」

You are within 5 minutes of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Excellent fresh produce available down highway 52 about 20 minutes (keep traveling South on Hwy 52 to arrive in Mt. Airy NC (Mayberry). 「My hubby & I were so in need of a peaceful trip and we were not disappointed! The property was lovely & we enjoyed the seclusion! Our pup & I reveled in the calm of the river space & nature. The only thing we would change was the weather, but no way to do that, is there? This is a great space for couples or families! We’ll stay again earlier in the summer so we can enjoy the beautiful pool!」

「We absolutely loved the quaint cabin tucked into the woods. We felt comfortable and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The hosts were attentive to us and were understanding when we were late arriving. Hospitality was exceptional!! The only small issue we had, was the walk to the cabin from the parking area. 「My family got to the property and the owners were there and seemongly forgot that we were coming. We had to wait about 45 minites for them to get packed up. There was a smoke detector beeping and they said they hoped we could deal with that. We could not as we have people in the family with a strong sensitivity to repetitive noise so we took it down. The property itself is very nice and we did have a good time dispite a rocky start.」

「Perfect place for our family to relax! We fished, had a bonfire and went canoeing! There’s a few places around to eat and shop not far but they have everything to cook at the property if you wanted. There’s hiking and plenty of outdoor adventures nearby! The grill was a standard camping grill that’s by the driveway. Little small if you want to grill a lot of stuff. Property company was very quick with response to my questions! Definitely would come back to this property 」

「This home is immaculate! Spacious and room to play and unwind after a long time in the car.
