Unfortunately we didn't have time to explore the local area, we just knew the way to work sit and back and there was plenty of takeaways and supermarkets along the way. "Clean spacious flat although it's on a very busy main road. We booked it because of the garden but it was unusable because it was totally overgrown so nowhere to sit or stand. Another point I would like to make is that for safety we think there should be a hand rail on the stairs as they are quite steep and there is nothing to hold on to. Location is central to going places in the area."

"Considering the part of Southend the room was located in, it was a pleasant surprise to walk into a clean smelling room. Hosts were on hand should we need anything. Only downside was it was so warm and after a day or two you could smell the drains despite the cooler being on. Overall a lovely room with everything we needed and very clean and would definitely consider it again"

"Clean and tidy and had all I needed for my stay. Close to Morrisons which was useful and only a 15 min drive to where I was working. My flat was at the front overlooking the road which is a bit noisy during the day and evening so I had the front windows closed and it was quiet enough at night for me to sleep. The towels are ok but would prefer bath sheets or larger towels than those on offer. I will certainly look to using this place again as I frequently work on Canvey island."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Delta Marriott while visiting the area for a family birthday! Since it was an unusually hot day, walking into a crisp, perfectly air-conditioned room was a huge relief. Our room was very spacious for our family of four, with comfortable beds, quality linens, excellent room amenities, and a nice, clean bathroom. The kids loved the pool, which is conveniently located in its own separate area. Breakfast the next morning was great with plenty of variety to keep everyone happy, and the staff were exceptionally polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. All in all, a fantastic experience—we’d definitely stay here again!"
