"The toilet our room would not flush. The chain was detached from the handle. Could reach to bottom. No one was there could fix. Switched room. New room did not have soda bed. Requested a portable. Both bathroom sinks did not having working drain plugs in sinks. One bathroom had 3 bath towels, 1 hand towl and no washclothes. Then the second room door had the deadbolt stuck open. Would nt retract. The staff was good and did all they could to help. They were pleasant and apologedic. "

"Pool wasn't accessible for me as there were many kids in the pool and they did pool parties to the public on the weekend. The gym only had free wts and one stepper that didn't work properly. Pretty disappointed in the gym and pool issues. for the most part there was friendly staff, but some were rude. Over all I did enjoy my stay here. i would rate it overall a 7/10."

"The hotel itself is under renovation. What anyone failed to tell is that for close to $200 for one night that we wouldn't have any hot water. It was lukewarm the evening that we got in after running the water for 5+ minutes. This morning prior to check out... No hot water at all. I checked out and asked the counter person if they knew of that issue and the response I received back was "gotta love renovations... I'll put some points on your IHG card sorry about that". I do not use my IHG account.. I only stayed there because of the area. I haven't stayed in a holiday inn prior to this for personal travel in YEARS. So her putting a few points on my account helps me absolutely none at all. So yeah ... Wasn't happy on this stay at all. "

"The hotel itself is lovely, every staff member was friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome — from Lee greeting me at the front desk to Tara and another woman whose name I didn’t get giving me advice on parks to which I could take my dog. They have complementary breakfast, a popcorn, machine, and cookies at night. Oh, and the room was spacious with a bathtub! And if it matters to you, as part of the same parking lot, there is a Planet Fitness and Perkins. I have stayed here before and I will stay here every time I visit Altoona."
