"Building works were happening in the rooms next door to mine during both days of my stay (loud drilling, hammering, moving furniture and I even lost power in my room because of it). When this was raised to the staff during my stay I was allowed to use the library to work in to join work meetings but no effort was made to pause the work or move me to a room that wasn't inbetween building work. Beautiful location but the apathy from the staff was disappointing."

"The property itself is beautiful, and I’m sure the rooms look amazing. However, I couldn’t even get past the check-in. My wife and I flew in on a Wednesday morning and got to the hotel and were excited to check in. I even called the day before and told them I land early and I was told they were most certainly accommodate an early check-in by 11 AM because they weren’t sold out of rooms apparently. Upon arriving, the Front Desk personnel that I worked with was already ignorant, rude, and seemed a bit racially motivated. She immediately said we do not do early check-in until 4 PM, however, after I spoke to her and told her I had already confirmed with someone the night before she went to the back, spoke to whoever she had to and came back and said we have a room that’s in ““ Cleaning stages and will be ready shortly. While that was happening, I asked her if there was an upgrade available to a balcony room she said there was she went over and chatted with another Front Desk personnel and granted me the upgrade for free after the other person said sure this was exciting until she told me that this room two is in Cleaning stages and will be ready by 12 PM to which I was fine with however 12 PM came 1 PM came 2 PM came and still no room then she tells me unfortunately I can’t check you in until 4 PM when I explicitly told her I have a wedding at 3 PM to get to. Instead of explaining to me that my original room I booked was ready to go, which another Front Desk person had told me "

"The hot tub was not working. There is a hole in the walkway covered by green turf carpet. We tripped and fell twice. Once getting a gash in my knee. It should be fixed not covered and hidden. "

"Unfortunately our room had a few issues. There were very few tv channels that worked. The sink had no plug. Trying to make a cup of tea was awkward as the facilities were under the roof eaves. "

"We were very disappointed. The hot water went out on our second morning and the host was not at all helpful. We tried for the two following days to get help over there and nobody came. We had three mornings with out any hot water and had to rent a hotel our last night there to take a hot shower. "

"The room was very cold from check in 4pm until I went to tell the receptionist to turn on the heater after 10pm and almost can’t feel the heat by even touching the radiator set at max level. The heater last only 30 minutes then stop for a whole night, and I was woken up from a chilling bed around 2am. I caught a cold and sneezed in the morning. Got no relaxation but kept distracted by the warning up my body! What a worse terrible night suffering the strong smell of masala filled in the hallway and the room. The towel’s smell like mold and not clean."

"Great location on the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, especially the fish chowder. Street parking can be a challenge, but the staff was very helpful. We would definitely stay there again if in the area"

"Eglington was a very comfortable and convenient apartment, centrally located in Bray. It had a very good shower, new carpet, and a wonderful bed. Tanya was a very friendly and helpful landlord with plenty of advice about local dinner options and sites. "
