"The Lubo is located in a very happening part of town. Charming squares, tons of restaurants and bars were footsteps away. The famous wooden bridge was a short walk and so was the promenade along the river. Lucerne main station is walkable, but be aware of the cobbled streets which make dragging trolley bags and strollers with small wheels difficult. Room was compact and fun with a queen size bed and two top bunks. Only complaint is that the AC was not very effective. We set it at 19 degrees C but the room wasn’t cooling at all which meant we were sweating all night. However we found that this is pretty common across Switzerland and we have been told across Europe. Definitely recommend staying here, we found it more cost efficient than other hotels in the area. The breakfast in the hotel cafe was yummy. Make sure you cross check the reservation number before you reach. The two numbers Expedia provided did not work so we had to call and get the right number."

"L’accueil a été fantastique. La chambre était parfaite. L’air climatisée bienvenue pendant cette période caniculaire. Nous l’avons apprécié même si elle était un peu bruyante. Le restaurant boléro était correct sans plus. La paella était un peu décevante. J’ai aimé l’option de ne pas demander le nettoyage complet de la chambre chaque jour en échange de boissons gratuites au bar."
