"The room I stayed in was clean and decent bed linen towels ect but the furnishings were out of date and very tired I never ate breakfast so I can not comment on this and the Bar menu was very limited The food however was always hot and cooked well"

"Very disappointed in the breakfast . At no point were we communicated to the the breakfast was continental only . The pictures on all booking platforms show cooked breakfasts . If we had been informed we would have cancelled and booked at the hotel at the airport . I felt that we were mislead and didn’t get what we paid for . I informed the lady in the morning and the lady who checked us in and was advised that something would be done when the owner was back . "

"Cheap and cheerful. Very basic solo double bedroom. £55 for 2 nights so don’t expect much. Bed and shower fine, kettle a plus. £7.50 for a £10 voucher at the services next door….Costa, Leon and Maccies. Bonus!"

"All good. Great property, large driveway,Lots of space for everyone indoors. Ground floor room with en-suite fantastic for the eldest member of our party. Good sized back garden for dog and easily mopped flooring in conservatory for those muddy feet coming in! A Tesco extra less than a 5 min drive away made getting supplies super easy. Great communication from host. "

"Throughout our stay, we received numerous phone calls from the management, repeatedly questioning us about the cameras. This happened so frequently that it became overwhelming and intrusive. What made it even worse was that we were contacted even when we were not at the property, which felt unnecessary and deeply unsettling. Instead of feeling welcomed or trusted as guests, we felt harassed and constantly watched. I'm having a problem with the host, not anything with the house, so if something isn't working in your house, you have to deal with it; you don't have to disturb someone else for that."

"It was an amazing stay. Really enjoyed staying at Matties Loft. Accommodation included all the facilities you would standardly require and more on a trip and was super clean. Host was really great and friendly, we felt welcomed. Should mention that our dog also really enjoyed the trip also as we took advantage of the lovely countryside walks and beautiful scenery. We would stay again :)"
