「On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. 「Family of 5 ski vacation. 2 adults and 3 teens. This was our 2nd time in Stowe and we wanted a bigger place than the one we had 3 years ago. Cabin was as advertised. Quiet spot but only a few minutes from town and 25 min from mountain. Kitchen fully stocked with pots/utensils. Big comfortable couch. We didn't really hang out down in the basement but there was a full bedroom and the house could definitely hold 2-3 more people comfortably. Highly recommend this rental.」

「Pictures and description are spot on. Yes this is a small rental but it was perfect for our short getaway. Extremely clean and tidy, bed was comfy and kitchenette was spotless. View into blooming spring woods was gorgeous and plenty of birds to watch. Only improvements could be a full length mirror and salt and pepper shakers.」
