Charming Pet-Friendly Family Cottage in Eynsham - Pass the Keys
Stunning 4-bed family home for 6-8 guests just minutes walk from Eynsham village centre.
Features include a double-height lounge with large dining area. There is also a bedroom, wet room with roll-top bath & open-plan kitchen on the ground floor.
Upstairs is a bedroom with its own shower on the mezzanine floor, plus 2 further bedrooms and a separate WC.
Outside, enjoy the rear terrace that leads to a charming hidden garden.
Ideal for families looking for space & comfort in a prime location!
Please be advised, although the property can potentially sleep a maximum of 8 guests, it is more comfortable for 6-7 guests due to the size of the beds, bathroom configuration and seating downstairs.
Step from the front door into the inviting living area with underfloor heating throughout the ground floor. To the left, a cosy lounge with an open fireplace and double-height ceiling creates a warm, spacious feel. To the right, the open-plan dining area features a table seating six, along with additional comfy seating for unwinding.
Continue through the elegantly lit corridor, where you'll find a king-size bedroom to the right and directly opposite is a luxurious wet room with an oversized shower and stunning copper roll-top bath. Accessible through the bathroom is a separate utility area with washing machine & tumble dryer for your convenience.
The stylish kitchen awaits to the rear, flooded with natural light from the wall-to-wall bi-fold doors. Fully equipped for entertaining, it includes a breakfast island with barstools for six plus a cosy sofa—perfect for guests who want to unwind while enjoying the buzz of the kitchen!
Upstairs, the mezzanine floor boasts a spacious king-size bedroom overlooking the lounge below, complete with a newly renovated, ensuite shower (no WC or sink). Further along in the eaves, you'll find two additional bedrooms, the larger one offers a double bed with ample room for two and the 4th bedroom features a small double bed (4' wide), ideal for one guest. A separate WC with sink serves the upstairs bedrooms.
Outside, you'll find a patio to the rear from the kitchen where there is a table tennis table, perfect for healthy competitions between friends or family. Beyond is a grassy hill leading up to a gate that opens into a large hidden garden! The outside areas are fully enclosed for your furry guests (although very small dogs could squeeze underneath the gate beside the garage).
There is private off-street parking for one car beside the garage with ample free parking on the street directly in front of the cottage.
Just a few minutes walk from the delightful Eynsham village centre with a number of charming independent shops & cafes, a great choice of pubs serving local produce & takeaways and a Co-op Local for your convenience.
Nearby, Estelle Manor is only 4.5 miles away, majestic Blenheim Palace is 6 miles away and Oxford city 20 minutes away. Eynsham is also conveniently located at the edge of the Cotswolds with Burford 'the gateway to the Cotswolds' less than 20 minutes away.
The whole property is available for the sole use of guests.
The garden beyond the patio area is quite steep and the grassy hill can be very slippery so please take care.
Strictly no parties allowed as this is a quiet rural neighbourhood. Quiet hours are from 11pm to 7am.
Standard check-in time is from 4pm onwards and check-out time is by 11am.
Strictly no smoking or vaping indoors please.
Please note this is a stone cottage with stone flooring, so can be a little cold in winter months.
We welcome up to 2 pets for a cost of £30 per pet per stay. Bowls and a welcome pack are provided (please leave bowls behind for the next furry guests). Please ensure the Pets box is ticked when you book.
Please kindly consider our house rules if you bring your dog: - Dogs must be well behaved and house trained - Please keep your pets off the soft furnishings - No pets upstairs please - Any fouling on premises must be cleared up please as quickly as possible - Muddy paws are to be cleaned before entering the house - Dogs must not be left alone in the property, thank you
