"The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The young lady who checked us in was so very polite and welcoming. My husband was hungry so we had supper at their pub. My husband assured me that the food was delicious as I slid my wings towards him as I was feeling unwell. At the end of our meal our server came to our table and explained that she had noticed that I was having a very bad day and had called her manager to see if they could do something nice for us. The manager had authorised for our meal to be complementary, on them. I protested and she insisted that they really wanted to to it and it had already been taken care of. It was such an unexpected act of kindness on her part to notice and to care enough to make a call. Just to make a stranger smile. To the management, thank you for your kindness and please know that your staff are your best asset and because of them The Guv'nor will be now be our hotel of choice."

"It was a beautiful view & sunrises worth getting up for. It is quiet & peaceful place. Did not realize I was sharing washer & dryer with people downstairs. Both doors unlocked and person knocked briefly once and walked through the door without allowing me to answer. He said he had a key and was allowed to use washer/dryer. Would of been nice to know. But after that no issues. No screens in living room and patio door not able to open. Missed that fresh air coming in as that would of been all part of the experience of renting place on the harbour there, fresh air hearing the ocean and the visuals. It got to be quite stuffy inside. It is a good place for solo person. Would consider again if screens and door to patio were functional. Would recommend. Thank you for your lovely rental."
