"William's cabin was perfect for a quick ADK getaway! The home was more equipped than expected (we usually camp, so there were more amenities than we are used to having) and the location was perfect- close to hikes, Lake Placid, and easy to find. Would definitely recommend this and will hopefully return in the future!"

"We had a great stay at the overlook site! Our site was exacty what the owner stated it would be. Swimming hole was so fun and we appreciated that he had fun stuff and floats/life vest for the kids! We were able to explore the area and visit Fort Ticonderoga during our stay and Kieth told us about some other fun things to do with our kids in the area."

"This was a wonderful site that I would love to visit again. The river flowing by was so beautiful. I would like to stay again when we don’t have so much rain. The river was too raging for any swimming. The only downside was there was a bit of a steep walk down to the site from the parking area, but you do have to go downhill to be near a river."

"This house was perfect for our party of 7. Spacious and comfortable for all. Very secluded and quiet area. A short drive to Lake Placid Olympic museum and arenas. We also stopped at the ski jump area and watched the young jumpers practice. Highly recommend! Check out Emma’ Lake Placid Creamery. Excellent!"

"It was everything that was described. Beautiful cabin and property. Not ideal for hauling a boat or parking one. The shower was cool but so was the water or to hot. But overall a great place and would go back again. There is very little cell service which i liked but was in return hard to communicate with owner's and the tournament staff for the bass tournament we were fishing. "DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! The listing is criminally incorrect. There are not two bedrooms, only one. They gave us air mattresses that deflated in less than 30 minutes. There is mold in the bathroom. The view is of other cabins in various stages of decay and actually falling apart. The service was mean and nasty, like they resented being bothered. But the most important thin is the listing is completely WRONG. It is false advertising. DO NOT STAY HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!"
