Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Balcony. Public car park; additional on road parking nearby. No smoking.. The Stable View is located in the heart of the beautiful Bowness on Windermere which has a superb selection of shops, restaurants and bars. This ground floor apartment is within a stone built house and offers guests a great level of comfort throughout. There is a living area with patio doors that lead to a private balcony which offers superb views, the kitchen is well-equipped and is open plan with a dining area, there is a double bedroom and a bathroom. This is a perfect location to explore this stunning location within the heart of the Lake District, and the Beatrix Potter Museum is just a short stroll away, or why not jump on a Windermere steamer boat a have a tour of the lake, then a wander through the streets of the beautiful town of Windermere. Shops 1 mile, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

We had a lovely short last minute break at the the stables view. A very pleasant property that suited us perfectly for 2 nights in Bowness. The apartment is small but very adequate and very well-situated for all the local amenities and Bowness is a beautiful place to visit. Would definitely go back and fully recommend The Stables View.

Comfortable cozy apartment, ideal location, well equipped. Some minor improvements could be :Floor sealant in the bathroom could do with renewing. The wardrobe should not be used to store the cleaning equipment, hoover, mop etc. Overall would recommend this property.

Great location

While it was a great location. The lack of parking at the property was disappointing as other units in the complex had parking but none for our unit.There was no sound proofing from the unit above.As we were there for a week a washing machine would have been useful- no extra towels or linen availble.

Cute apartment

The apartment is very small but nicely decorated and clean. The walls are thin so you can hear everything from the neighbours! The apartment is centrally located for easy access to Windermere but there is no parking at the property. The nearest all day parking is a 10 min walk away and cost £20 for 3 days, which as car parks go is quite reasonable.

Incredibly cheeky checkout process

Considering you can check in until 16:00 and your expected to check out at 10:00 (both of which are very un generous) you are expected to empty all your own bins and strip the bedding

My Lakeside experience

Room was located in lovely area easy access to resturants and shops and just a short walk to the lake, only issue was PARKING other than that it was a lovely stay.
