Breakfast was delicious and great to have freshly made sourdough and vegetables from the garden. Staff that we met were delightful …. Really enjoyed meeting the other guests at the communal breakfast and sharing stories …. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely private cottage completely finished in knotty pine. Scrupulously clean throughout. Nice large bathroom with great shower. Lots of fluffy towels. Comfortable king sized bed with good pillows. Nice sitting area with TV and couch and chair. The only suggestion is that the good sized fridge lacked ice cube trays and an ice bucket. Also if you visit in hot months (do they exist in Newfoundland?) the windows open to the Main Street so you might have some traffic noise that was no issue for us in September."

"Lovely unit in a house right across the street from the beach in a cute neighborhood. Easy access to dining or you can cook in the apartment. We met the owner and he was very gracious, looking to make sure we had a great stay. He even bought us breakfast when we ran into him at Tim’s. I booked through VRBO and didn’t receive the check in information prior to our arrival. I called the host when we got there and they texted the information right away. I would absolutely recommend By the Beach. Perfect for a family or two couples travelling together."
