  • This historic Inn sits at the base of Ragged Mtn. and provides the perfect space for family gatherings! Cook in the large commercial kitchen with double wall oven, 6 burner stove, griddle and multiple commercial fridges & freezers. Seat everyone in the spacious dining area. A magnificent great room with wood burning fireplace, game table and oversized picture windows looks out over the sprawling hills, giant outdoor fire pit and pond. With lots of abutting trails to explore. Jump in the heated indoor pool or view swimmers from the bar balcony and sunken conversational room. Grab a book and nestle in one of the many quiet nooks throughout the house. Plenty of nearby shops, restaurants & golf course's while Only 20 minutes to Mt. Sunapee and lake.
    For even MORE space add our apartments to your rental. Early check-in may be available for a fee of $600.

The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating and prompt in reply to. questions. The history and charm of the property were amazing. Large, very well stocked kitchen. The kids particularly loved the variety of games available. We would definitely recommed for large groups!

The kitchen is awesome with plenty of refrigerator space. Bring any foil, plastic wrap, leftover containers with you. They have tons of plates, drinkware, cookware. The pool area was a big hit with the younger folks and some of the parents. We didn't end up using the fireplace because the weather was mild.

A perfect getaway for a large group!

The old inn was a great spot for a weekend of BBQ, yard games, and good times. The accommodations were just what we needed for a great getaway! Eric was great to work with and was quick to respond to all of my inquiries. I hope to visit it again!

Excellent Property

With a group of 20, there are many times where you cannot even find anyone amongst the various spaces, which are all unique.The bedrooms were spacious, the house was clean, and in an excellent location to both Mount Sunapee and the more local Ragged Mtn. I've been booking annual vacation homes for over 10 years and this one is one of the best yet.

Executive Offsite Meeting

We are returning customers! Perfect location and great privacy for the large group. Plenty onsite amenities and enough space to spread out. Erica is super responsive and very easy to communicate with if needed. Thank you again for another great offsite meeting!

Perfect weekend

My husband and I invited our wedding party to stay at NHMI with us for the weekend of our wedding! We got married at Ragged Mountain and this inn was a perfect spot for our wedding party to get ready/ hangout after the wedding! The inn was extremely clean and charming with views that will take your breath away. Perfect weekend!

Better than you can even imagine!

Mountainside estate was an absolute dream property! I swear we didn't even find all the bedrooms because there were just so many! All the guests raved about every part of the property, from the pool, to the kitchen, to all the lounge areas. Everything was comfortable, cozy, and very clean. We can't wait to plan our next stay!

Amazing weekend!

We had a bunch of friends and their families together for the long weekend. The house is perfect for everyone to be able to have plenty of space and amazing entertainment. The kids LOVED the pool and we set up the living room for a perfect movie night. We will be back!

A perfect spot to relax!

Our stay here was wonderful! The property is gorgeous, so much space to spread out for our yearly family vacation (32 of us!). The kitchen is amazing!! You’ll have anything and everything you would need to cook. The pool was great for the kids, the deck outside overlooking the pond is a great spot to relax with a drink and snacks. Communication with the owner was quick and easy, it was clean and really had everything we needed to enjoy hanging with our family. Highly recommend!!

Great stay for large group

We had an amazing weekend at this house! It had plenty of space for our 8 families with tons of beds and places to hang out. We never felt crowded and so many options for things to do with the pool, games, tv room and board games! Thanks for an amazing weekend we’ll be back!!

Family gathering

The property is lovely, with beautiful views. There was plenty of room for our extended family. We had a lot of cloudy/damp days, but there was always something to do in the house. The homeowner is very responsive and the live-in caretaker very helpful. We had a great week!

Our Staff Retreat

It is large enough that small groups could gather in areas with large areas big enough for all of us to eat together or cook together. The kitchen is spacious with large refrigerators, a grill, a large stovetop and plenty of countertops. The kids loved the indoor pool in winter. The landlord was very helpful and answered my questions quickly.

Sprawling inn in beautiful location

This place was spacious with large rooms and lots of smaller spaces to lounge in. Our family of 28 enjoyed the indoors and outdoors. There were some unanticipated issues and Eric and the nearby caretaker were extremely communicative. Lots of bedrooms with bathrooms gave lots of privacy. We had an amazing time.

AMAZING!

Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the weekend! The property is incredible--the house is large and spacious so that our group didn't feel on top of each other, the indoor pool was the perfect temperature and a huge hit, and the outdoor fire pit was exactly what our group needed! The large outdoor spaces allowed a perfect space for a three hour game of capture the flag. Would recommend!
