「Great location on a quiet residential street. Lots of free street parking. A few minutes walk to the Queen Emma bridge and so many cafes and restaurants all around. 「Excellent location. Yes its a resort, but once you step foot out of the doors, it feels like your among the locals, which was great. Plenty of shopping and window shopping to do in the area without a crazy amount of walking. Beaches were clear and beautiful. Just a relaxed getaway. I would deff go again.. I've been to Aruba as well.. Curacao may have them beat!」

「Kontiki doesn’t have air conditioning in the main rooms. Hotel is under construction so there was banging and trucks making noise . They are having an issue with the sewage system so there was a terrible smell. Manager was not helpful at all. Cleaning staff and other workers were pleasant and friendly.」

The dehumidifier leaked a significant amount of water onto the floor, making it slippery. My daughter fell because of this, which was very concerning. 「This place is so adorable ! As Americans we felt the smaller more quiet atmosphere was amazing. The pool is small but never crowded. We were the only ones in it each time we swam. This hotel is steps from the beach. If you’re American , bring plug converters (they gave us some from front desk - thank you !!). The beach is gorg. Snorkeling was amazing. Blue bay beach gives you everything you need. Crystal clear water , chairs , shade , two food places and a bar on the beach, clean bathrooms....
