「What a fantastic jewel in the desert! I hosted a Monsoon Photography Workshop at the Painted Pony. It had everything we needed and more that we didn't need. Everything is well laid out when it comes to the living, dining, and food preparation areas. Plenty of room inside and outside the facilities. This is wonderfully appointed, comfortable, private getaway on 25 acres of Sonoran Desert, adjacent to both wetlands where the Sandhill Cranes winter (Willcox Playa and Whitewater Draw). 「Everything was great! The property was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. We bought some bird food and spent the mornings and evenings relaxing on the porch watching the desert bird species. We checked out the Chiricahua Mountains National Monument and did several hikes as well. Would recommend to anyone wanting to escape for a few days and relax!」
