Senga and Ryan were very friendly. Ryan suggested where to get dinner at a local pub, within walking distance, and made a booking for us. Street parking at the house.」

「A house to yourself on the harbour. Simple arrival email giving details of code and keys. Was great to have a whole house to ourselves after 5 weeks of room only. 」

「Everything was set on arrival. We had a nice stay in a very quiet neighbourhood. Maybe a bit to far if you would not have a car. The house could already do with an update. Especially the kitchen, or rather the equipment. The frying pan for example was really in a horrible state. Some people might like the electricity meter, but I found it a bit creepy, as if we were watched... Another item that clearly needs a change is the mattress. It was way to soft and we could feel the bottom of the bed....

「Das haus liegt sehr ruhig auf einem Bauernhof. So richtige ländliche idylle kommt aufgrund des steinbruchs direkt neben dem bauernhof aber nicht auf. Die lage ist sehr isoliert und zum nächsten supermarkt ist es schon ein Stück. Dafür hat man die meiste Zeit seine ruhe. Das haus war sauber geputzt. Nur der staubsauger, um selber zwischendrin mal sauber zu machen roch sehr muffelig und der staubbeutel war voll. Der ofen und der herd funktionieren mit gas. Bei uns hat der zünder nicht...
