「Good basic house just outside the town of Baddeck. Not really walkable into downtown, but just a five-minute drive with plenty of parking. Open living area, but just a little cramped. Good breeze with windows open to cool down the house on a warm summer day. Would stay again.」

「We loved our stay here and Joanne, the property manager was great. Responsive to all of our needs and a good communicator. It was a great home base for our week at Cape Breton. The house was well equipped and had lots of places for our group of 3 couples to relax. It was a beautiful private setting with great views. 」

「This house sits in the middle of a hayfield, set 500’ or so back from the road. Very quiet, and a secure place to let the dogs play. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, and well-equipped, including heat-pump a/c and an excellent washer/dryer in the basement. The Mabou area is always a treat: grocery, gas station and the Red Shoe Pub (very nice restaurant and music venue) all 5 minutes away. Mabou Mines sandy beach 10 minutes away. 「Michael and Winnie greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. Beautiful people and the best hosts. Very friendly and accommodating. Our accommodation was above and beyond, equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Our cottage was so comfortable and peaceful. We would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to family. 」
