The annual Whitstable Oyster Festival takes place during the summer and oysters are still very popular and available moments from your doorstep. Whitstable is what tourists think of when they picture a quaint English seaside town. There are numerous excellent restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. Whitstable’s Harbour and beach is located right outside your front door and a minute’s walk away, as are local shops for everything you could need.
