Quiet, clean sheets, secure, close enough to walk downtown. Close to grocery stores.
The hotel is old, but in good repair. It is a little tired in some areas. The location to local attractions is good.

This is a 3 star at best. Well used by many travelers clean, with helpful staff. Good location to river walk, gas, gro ties
25 min walk to main downtown
The room was clean but since I was there with a pet for 5 nights I would have liked to have the room vacuumed at least once. Laundry was great. Staff were very helpful.
A great stay within walking distance to all Whitehorse amenities! Wonderful staff, extremely helpful. James, the owner is a great gent always willing to go that extra mile for his guests. Thanks for a great experience and visit!!!
This place is shabby on the outside and on the inside, But don't let that put you off. It is incredibly clean and is a great value. It has a great locations (for instance located between Tim's and McDonald's and a short stroll to Shipyard Park which is always busy with local events. And the Big Bear Eatery and Taphouse is located just around the corner. Our room had a full kitchen so we purchased groceries and made our own breakfasts and packed a lunch when we felt like it. Two notes of caution. The air conditioner needs some upgrading and the bed, while comfortable, needs some stabilizing.

Front desk okay checking in. The $200 deposit for potential damage is utter bull. They say it is only a pending pre authorization but it is still out of my account technically. Reading the rules in the elevator will take you 3 round trips to your floor. A dress code, no jumping or climbing out windows. What I loved most of this family hotel is the sign that stated the owner and staff are armed. Rooms are old and dated and above a 24 hour Laundromat. Parking lot has junk all over and around it.
This place was definitely not as advertised. There was no breakfast or restaurant when I asked for a coffee they told me to try the gas station nearby.
The outside looks rough and the hallways were dark on the inside but the rooms were pleasant enough and clean. Didn’t realize we needed to tell them we needed cleaning. The cards were confusing to use.
Our window opened had no screen so that was a bit scary on the third floor with a child and the view was a dumpster and a lot of abandoned rvs and if you couldn’t find parking in the front it didn’t feel overly safe leaving my car out back.
Front staff were very friendly and sweet though and the hotel was close to everything downtown. Was definitely expecting a bit more though.
The staff were really helpful and kind. They let us access our room three hours in advanced since it was already cleaned which was appreciated with all of our backpacks we had to carry.
The hotel is a bit on the older side, so is the linen and rooms but its one of the cheapest hotels in Whitehorse so id say its fairly priced. Linens had hole and some stains but they all smelled clean and were clearly freshly washed so we Didnt mind. But again we took the cheapest room so we arent complaining. The owners seems to be progressively updating their rooms and theres seems to be modernized room on their website so I guess it is just a matter of Time before the older rooms are improved.
Thanks again to all the friendly staff weve encountered
Good items - major laundromat adjacent to hotel, price for this area.
Bad- the one major issue is rooms do not have individual a/c control. They have a thermostat but it can only heat the room ( not tested we were staying in June) but it can not control the a/c. Sign outside hotel says a/c and free WiFi. THE BUILDING has A/C, the rooms have a vent which a/c trickles through but the ROOMS DO NOT HAVE A/C. We were on third floor and it was 70 degrees so the room was HOT. No fan or anything. Room was okay, it was dated but you get what you pay for. Location good, big parking around back.
The rooms are quite comfortable and the bedding was excellent. Do not judge a book by its cover, while the building looks older, the rooms are quite nice.
