"This cabin was everything I’d hoped at booking time. The scenery and location are gorgeous. The cabin itself is thoughtfully stocked with everything a person would require. We hated leaving and will definitely rebook."
2 bedroom lakefront cabin on Crow Lake #6 Bull Moose Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"We had a fun stay at this cabin! The waterfront location and gorgeous lake views were amazing, and the screened porch was the perfect spot to hang out. The beach was a blast — we spent lots of time in the kayak and on the lily pad float mats, and the weather couldn’t have been better. It was also convenient having boat rentals right on site. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans for cooking, and the owners were really nice and responsive whenever we had questions. The cabin could use a deeper clean and some updates where wear and tear is visible. We noticed cobwebs, dust, stains, chipped floor tiles, and found candy wrappers under the beds from previous guests.Keep in mind that the local grocery store doesn’t take U.S. cards (though there’s an ATM), so it’s manageable but a little inconvenient.Overall, we had a really great time — the location and lake activities made the trip memorable. With a bit more attention to cleaning and some small upgrades, this place would be absolutely fantastic!"
Rustic Log Cabin #8 on Crow Lake at Bull Moose Lodge. Family and pet friendly
10/10 Excellent
"Our experience with a stay at this lodge was so incredible. We stayed in cabin #8, which was small but very cozy. Our family of 5 slept all together which we don’t get to do often so was fun! The kids all had their own bed as there were still 4 beds. We had a full kitchen and bathroom as well. The cabin was very clean and well prepared for guests. There is water front swimming and docks. We had our own dock off the side of our cabin which our son was out fishing off constantly. The water was crystal clear, very refreshing and awesome to swim in! We opted to rent a boat one of the days (which was very reasonable price) and go out for an afternoon around the lake. One of the biggest highlights for our kids was the access to water sport equipment. They had a kayak, canoe, peddle boat, water bike and floating mat at the beach area. It was great for our kids to get to use all the different things and kept them busy and entertained. Our kids have already said they want to come back every year. Gail and Cliff went above and beyond — they were warm, friendly, and truly thoughtful in making sure we all had a good experience. They supplied us firewood for a bonfire and were just around if we needed anything. If you’re looking for cottage/cabin type getaway with wonderful hosts and unbeatable lake access, this is it! "
"We had a wonderful time at the cabin! I'm not expecting anything fancy from a cabin in the woods, but the amenities were all as promised and made for a great stay. It's a beautiful location, very calm and quiet but nice to be around other families enjoying the lake. We loved the beach and the dock. It was great to be able to cook meals in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The internet was a little spotty at times but that was expected. When there was an issue with the water, the host responded and resolved the issue quickly. Would definitely return!"
Island Retreat Sioux Narrows Ontario Canada - Amazing fishing area
10/10 Excellent
"This was located on a part of the lake we hadn’t fished yet so we were excited to check it out. The property was beautiful and exactly as advertised. It was clean and communication with the host was great. This is their family cabin so we appreciated them letting us use it. There is a bit of a hill to walk up in case you have anyone in your party with mobility restrictions, it might be tough. Overall great. Definitely watch for rocks on this part of the lake. Thanks for hosting "
