「Really good size room, was perfect on the ground floor having patio doors open onto a small bistro set. Really comfortable stay. Attentive staff. Didn't eat here as i was working in the area ling hrs but Cant ask for me. 」

Breakfast options were available, quality and quantity were very good. Thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay.」
「We loved our stay at the Ancient Gatehouse. The room was lovely and looked out over the green in front of the Wells Cathedral. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel has an excellent Italian restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner before walking around the lovely town of Wells. Americans should know it is not air conditioned, but air conditioning is rare in the UK and Europe. There is a fan and lovely large windows. We will definitely return.」

「Loved our stay at here, staff were very welcoming and helpful and patient with our young Vizsla dog. Ideal set up for staying with a dog, with rooms located opposite site of the car park to the cosy pub. Food was excellent. Definitely would come and stay here again. 」
