Loved the peace and quiet

This is the perfect location for peace and quiet. Beautiful property with everything you need for a lovely stay. Sitting in the garden and listening to the birds was magical. Just so peaceful. Even Lollie the cat was super friendly. 🥰🥰

Fabulous time

This is a lovely place to stay, a real home from home. Close to Whitby beach and Abbey also a 40 min drive to Scarborough. Clean, tidy and very comfortable. The eggs and milk were a lovely touch. We are definitely going to go again

Lovely quiet property close to Whitby

We had a great short break to visit the area and the goth weekend. The cottage was perfect for our needs and Pauline and Bob were very helpful. The kids loved feeding the alpacas! Easy walk to the park and ride to get a bus into Whitby, and a 5 minute drive to beautiful Sandsend to enjoy the beach. We hope to be back!

Trip to Whitby to trace my family's roots

Lovely and relaxing break away from the stresses if everyday life. Beautiful rural location a short drive from Sandsend and Whitby. Local shops within walking distance. Spacious accomodation with lovely garden and welcoming hosts living next door. Can't wait to go back again in October.

Very well equipped cottage in a well positioned location. There were 6 of us staying and had plenty of space for us although we were lucky to have great weather so we could use the garden as well. We had a few wi-fi issues in the evenings but

Little weekend break

Just back from a lovely little 2 night stay at Grain Cottage. Beautiful little hideaway with everything you could possibly need. I booked the wrong week like a moron. Pauline was still able to accommodate even though I didn’t notice until about noon the day we arrived. It’s a very well done barn conversion. It was great having an enclosed yard for the dog. You can’t beat the price and we even got to feed the alpacas.

Lovely cosy place to stay

This is our second year staying at Christmas. It’s great location for Sandsend and Whitby. The house itself is warm well equipped and spacious for the whole family to stay. We love staying here as a family and will be returning again throughout the year.

Gorgeous homely, spacious cottage in a fantastic location. Loved everything about this place. Kitchen well equipped. Comfy beds. Great shower and bath. Peaceful on a night. Have already booked to go back. One of the best cottages we have stayed in.

Well equipped little cottage

Perfect location for us, the cottage is very well equipped with lots of games and dvds. The garden is enclosed so we weren’t worried about the dog getting out.

Lovely place.

Second visit with my family. The barn is in a quiet location, but only a short walk to the beach. Whitby is only a 15 minute drive. The barn is lovely and plenty of room for a family (4 in ours). The beds are come with fresh bedding.
