If anything, our second stay at this property was better than the first, and we appreciated how good it is vs anything else in the area.
The house is perfectly located on Whitby Beach. The picture is not AI... if anything it doesn't do justice to the view. It has two well located queen bedrooms with a shared bathroom. There is a more basic lower "teen's room" down below. The kitchen is fully equipped to US standards, and they provide basics like S&P, dish soap etc. I like to cook, and was able to produce good meals here. The house furnishings are beach style. We can't unplug completely from our work, and the WiFi works reasonably well. Supported zoom calls.
The owners are extremely responsive both before and during the stay, and Mac, their local rep is extremely helpful. He can help arrange pretty much anything there is to do on the island, and runs his own van service.
If you need resorts, "action" or a scene, then North Caicos is not for you. If you want a getaway, with virtually no one on the beach for miles; are happy to self-cater most meals, and have a bit of a shopping plan (IGA Graceway on Provo) before you arrive at the ferry, then this is AMAZING. There are a couple of basic but fun restaurants on the island. There are a couple of super basic groceries on the island, emphasis on super basic. The liquor store has a surprisingly good variety, although wine is lower end. Bugs can be a problem all over the island; bring spray. It was windy, so no issue for us.
