「We rented this property for two nights. After we found where to get entry information, 4 or 5 codes to get there. The grand finale was the door to the suite DID NOT work. This was after hauling everything up 3 flights. We loaded our stuff back in the car and back to the person who gave us the codes. He didn’t know what to do and told us to contact the owners. 「Front Desk was pretty busy when we arrived. They were pretty rushed to get us checked-in. Found info in the suite lacking. There were two WELCOME binders, but not alot of information regarding the amenities or how to use any of the appliances. Couldn't figure out how to turn on the fireplace for awhile, especially because the switch seemed to be backwards. 「We stayed at Village North Whistler for 2 nights. Initially we planned to stay for one night but then changed the plan and booked the second night. 「Overall our stay was satisfactory. Beds are comfortable. Good thing we didn’t end up bringing our dog as my husband stayed home with her because the binder in the suite says the building is not pet friendly even though the VRBO listing in the app says it is pet friendly. Building is old and dormitory like. You need a key to open the garage door. The toilet paper roll holder in the ensuite bathroom fell off when I touched it. Air conditioning was questionable. 「The owner requires a separate rental agreement before checking in but after booking. Kitchen vent and dish washer do not work and no response when asked. The place is hard to find without clear instructions. It is a bit noisy at night from the restaurant below the unit. We are not very happy climbing stairs without elevator at all.」
