Just returned from a 3 night stay at Oaklands. The hotel is under new ownership (Ingrid and Ben) and the service has not suffered. In fact I would say it’s improved, Both Ingrid and Ben make you very welcome and nothing was too much. Look forward to retuning in the future. David & Karen

Enjoyed a few days staying here whilst visiting Dorset. Oaklands is way better than the other places I have stayed in Weymouth in the past. It's full of character, well located (close enough to the sea front to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet) and had many nice touches. I would throughly recommend staying here if you are visiting the area.

A very nice guest house run by a very attentive and helpful couple. The room was pleasant although it lacked a full wardrobe, just an open hanging bay. The parking was easy to access. Please note that the photo in Hotels.com is misleading in that the property is not on the sea front , it's about a 10 minute walk inland, though that wasn't a problem for us.

This was a jem of a find couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room and the hotel itself. The owners and their staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was excellent and a good choice. Off road parking was good and on their property. It's ideally situated near the town and beach with about a 15 minute walk. We would definitely stay here again without a doubt and would highly recommend this hotel.
