「Avoid! We stayed mid-Sept (2026) and were excited to try an adventure of a room 'in a pub'. It was a horrific experience and we departed early. We (3 women) had the courtyard triple room (#23). As soon as we entered the room, we noticed a dampness and a strong smell of mildew. We thought heat would help but the radiator would not turn on; we went to the bar staff (part of the problem is that there is no on-site manager to resolve issues) and the bar staff told us the heat is not turned on until...

「My only criticism was that the room had noise from central heating or air conditioning all night - it was very disturbing and the only drawback from a lovely visit.」

「Parking is a bit difficult , not many spaces and a bit confusing at first. Adding a mini fridge to the room would be nice.」

「A classic old Irish property. Everything was gracious and subdued. Very calming and relaxing. The hosts were attentive and helpful while at the same time they were unobtrusive. A great two days and we will definitely return. Don't miss the breakfast!!」

「Lovely apartment the staff where amazing as always we were lucky enough to have a sea view apartment fabulous view location of the talbot suite and hotel is great for local amenities, the food and staff in the hotel are excellent have stayed there many times and will continue to do so , thank you to all the staff for making it memorable」

「When we arrived, night porter very helpful. The only issue with the room was that the main light did not work which was also connected to the bedside lamps. The breakfast is very good, I ordered poached eggs on toast my son had the small full Irish, Macrina out waitress was very polite and informative. Would definitely recommend it.」

「From the moment you pull in the driveway you get a sense of calm. The landscape is absolutely stunning. You are greeted at the door by one of the owners. They show you around then take you upstairs to your room. The decor was very calming and having its own bathroom in your room is a great bonus. Breakfast was made to order and prepared by o e of the owners as well. These 2 men have created a BnB that they should be extremely proud of. If we ever come back to this part of Ireland, we will 100%...

「Was initially very hard to find as my Google Maps took me near the train station on Station Road, I had to contact the owner. Great secure parking at the side of the house. The house clean but a little cold and a smell in the kitchen, maybe drains or damp? Beds really comfy, and nice smelling bedding. We didn't have a shower as we didn't have time to turn the immersion heater and wait for the water to heat up and also I couldn't find a hairdryer anywhere ? A good place for 2 couples or a...
