「Clean rooms. But on the small side but nice. The man on the phone to get i to the property we found to be not very helpful and quite rude.」

「Disappointing Stay – 29th August Unfortunately, our stay at the Little Haven Hotel was very disappointing. The room was extremely dated, and instead of a comfortable double bed, we were provided with two small single beds, which was not what we expected. Breakfast was equally disappointing. We were shown to a table that had clearly not been cleaned after the previous guests. We asked a member of staff to sort it, and while the used cups and utensils were replaced, we then had to ask again for...

「Decor well maintained , food excellent .」

「Room was good size and clean Use of the pool was good」

「Everything was perfect. Lovely room which was immaculately clean and well presented. Stephen and Neil were perfect hosts and clearly work really hard to ensure their guests have a lovely stay. Great location for everything in the area. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you!」

「Staff very helpful, gym was great and it was very clean」

「This hotel was just mins walk away to the beach of Whitley Bay. It's an older hotel and a very good price. Nothing fancy but clean, quiet and plenty of shopping near by. Staff was very nice and friendly. It was just a 1 night stay to enjoy the relaxing sea rather than a busy city and long my journey up the coast line of England to Bamburgh Castle.」

「Such a lovely overnight stay, we were in the area to attend an evening wedding reception. Very clean, great location & superb breakfast & Michael was so welcoming & helpful with the area & directions. Would recommend.」

「It was a car-free trip, but as the bus station was nearby, it wasn't as inconvenient as I'd expected. The lady at reception was very kind. Very comfortable room. Having a fridge was also a great help.」

「Hotel did not inform me that all roads leading to the hotel in a rather large radius would be closed on the night of my arival. There was no communication of alternative parking arrangements. When I arrived and explained calmly that I was not a happy customer I was given excuses. Apparently they are unable to contact me because I booked through expedia. This is strange as they had contacted me through expedia to tell me that my room was non refundable. If you are going to Sunderland pick...

「Fantastic location, great food, lovely staff.」

「The room was cold as the heating didn't work well. There was also no hot water in the shower. Despite requesting improvement, nothing was done. The room was clean and well-maintained, the housekeeping service was very good, and the breakfast was tasty.」

「Very tired and old hotel」

「Stairs up to room were very clean and well kept. Corridors clean, spacious and lovely air fresheners used. Room was very clean, spacious and quiet and cosy. Bed comfortable and lovely pillows. Bathroom had good shower and a bathmat was provided which I like to have. Good shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand cream provided. Breakfast was lovely and lots of choice. Friendly staff. Would recommend and would stay again.」

「The location is great. The reception area looks clean & very modern. The non trainee receptionist was rude to us when we arrived, though the rest of the reception staff were as they should be. Our room was very basic and especially in the bathroom very tired looking. The shower is ancient. Woodwork - poorly painted/chipped. Toilet bowl edges were dark brown, as was the sink plughole. I asked a nearby cleaner to come clean it. I was unsure if it was covered by dark hair or just pure black grime....

「Probably the best hotel in Newcastle; beautiful rooms, walk in shower and a tub if you want a soak. Quayside is a great location with entertainment options aplenty but we had a cocktail in the bar and dinner in the restaurant- very good white Russian and steak bearnaise plus arugula and parmesan salad which was perfection. Only choice for us when staying in Newcastle to visit family.」
