「It's far easier to talk about the negatives points of Shorecroft....nothing! We've stayed in holiday cottages for years and Shorecroft is by far the most outstanding. The location and views are simply stunning, Shorcroft itself is fabulous and oozes quality, from the beds and bedding through to the kitchen utensils, literally everything has been thought about and executed to perfection. There was even smoked salmon and Champagne awaiting our arrival. We definitely hope to return, thank you.」

「ツアーで行ったオークニー旅行の途中、この宿に夜８時に到着。ツアーのミニバスが玄関に着くと同時に建物の中から出迎えの声が聞こえ、笑顔の美しいオーナーが私のファーストネームを呼びながら話しかけてきてくれました。４泊５日の最後の宿でしたので、わりと疲れがたまっていたのですが、彼女のおもてなしの気持ちが伝わってきて、夫も私も元気になりました。朝食もおいしく、夫がいただいたコンチネンタルの朝食には大きなメロンの上に旬のサマー・ベリーズが３種類ものっかってました（ラズベリー、ブラックベリー、いちご、ブルーべリー）。ひとつだけ残念だったのは、バスルーム付という表示を見てダブルの部屋を予約したのですが、割り当てられた部屋の中にバスルームがなく、部屋を出たすぐのところ（階段の踊り場）にある私たち専用のバスルームを使わないといけませんでした。使うたびに服を着て部屋を出るのが面倒だったので、予約サイトでの明示が必要かと思います。こうした不自由はありましたが、次にUllapoolに泊まる機会にも泊まりたいと思う宿です。」

「Very comfy and cosy house, it’s in a small village which isn’t clear but has a lovely back and front garden. Just a quick walk to the amazing beach The road I thought might be busy with 500 ers but they had to drive slowly so wasn’t noisy. Bring a sharp knife!」

「Very nice high spec hotel. Rooms have everything you could need. Hotel has a drying room which is handy on a wet day. Great view of the bay. Staff very nice and helpful. Negatives: very limited food menu, nothing for vegans. Seems very overpriced compared to similar hotels in the highlands. 」

「Altguish inn was an unexpectedly nice stay that we experienced on out nc500 trip. The hotel is out of nowhere in the middle of the road with no attractions nearby. An old cute hotel. They have ample parking, and 1 slow electric charger in the carpark. The restaurant served good english breakfast. The sausages were amazing. The bar was good. The service was excellent. Now our room was also amazing with all necessary amenities. I would surely recommend the place for anyone travelling the route and...
