Yellowstone Trip

This was a great place to stay for our trip to Yellowstone. The property was in a great location for access to the park and local amenities. I would recommend the Bucking Moose as a quaint, quiet place to stay and would definitely book here again if we were to return.

An updated old motel run as a Vrbo. Watch out for the hidden fees. That being said, it's been updated well, very comfortable bed, nicely updated shower, actual cable TV so you don't need your own streaming service, easy check-in and overall not really more than most other places in town. They know demand is high so it can be expensive. I'd certainly check out alternatives but I'd stay here again since it was so comfortable.

Weekend getaway in West Yellowstone

We stayed at the Lynx room for the weekend. The room was clean and spacious and the Bucking Moose is close to many restaurants and bars. We will definitely stay here again for our next weekend get away!

Great location with fast access to the park and near some pretty good restaurants. Laundry facilities are close by for when the geyser smell is in all your clothes. Very comfortable clean room. TV is brand new but not set up to play. I kept meaning to call but I was too tired to care!! Quiet. Parking is available but could be explained better or assigned better since everyone has a car but that’s just being too picky for a really terrific place. Euro Cafe across the street has terrific coffees and breakfast items before you head to the park, which is so close.

Good quality motel room

This unit is the equivalent of a good motel room: comfortable king bed; good linens; coffee maker; small fridge; very small bathroom with shower. However, there were *no* instructions in the room (very different from other VRBOs); the internet TV had two or three options (Netflix had a previous guest logged in). Coffee maker was broken, but was replaced promptly. Do not count on preparing breakfast or any meal in the room: no utensils of any kind. As noted, a motel room, not a suite or apartment. A good choice among many bad options in the tourist trap that is West Yellowstone.

The coffee maker didn’t have filters. There was no body soap in the shower and we were told they were out. We kindly asked twice to have the room made up and asked for new towels but never received any. The bed was comfortable, the location was good for our purposes and the staff appeared friendly.
