"We enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage. Some of the family saw a deer in the yard or first morning there. It was close to the tourist places such as Acadia and Bar Harbor, but still far enough away if you wanted to be away from the crowds. We liked hanging out on the back porch and visiting in the evenings and mornings. I’m a person who does well with written instructions, so those would have been helpful for me in regards to check in and check out procedures. (I realize not everyone needs...

"The pictures do not do this place justice! It is immaculate and well stocked with plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. It is located right on Duck Bay which made it so peaceful. While it is a bit of a drive to Bar Harbor and some of the major Acadia attractions, it is well worth it! Not to mention the amazing restaurant the owners run in one of the nearby harbors. Also would highly recommend trying it out. Clinton and Margaret are top notch hosts!"

"We love the location - we loved having a restaurant, ice cream spot, and grocery store/gas station across the street, and being 15 minutes from the beautiful schoodic point. The drive to the bar harbor side is about an hour, but it's an easy and pretty drive. The house itself was clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated. Would definitely stay again!"

"The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden...

Beautifully decorated and everything you need, but... it is more like a modular 4-apartment home / b&b - no ocean view, at the end of a dirt road (lots of dust), but a few deer met us as we unpacked.
