Lovely house and hosts

Dave and Rod are two of the most gracious hosts we have encountered in our travels. They anticipated our every need and even got us to the airport on time when our uber did not come! We cannot make enough nice comments about the breakfast the house, the gardens and their generosity. We will definitely stay with them again if back in the area!

**A Perfect Stay at the Benzel Mansion** I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Benzel Mansion in West Palm Beach, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The mansion itself is a gem—full of old-world charm, beautifully maintained, and rich with character. Every room feels thoughtfully curated, blending classic elegance with modern comfort. One of the highlights of my stay was the lovely breakfast served each morning. It was not only delicious but clearly prepared with care—fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and enjoyed in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the day. The hospitality of the hosts was second to none. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure every guest felt at home. Whether it was offering local recommendations, sharing the fascinating history of the mansion, or simply checking in to ensure everything was perfect, their warmth made a lasting impression. What stood out most, though, was their responsiveness. Any question or request I had—no matter how small—was met with prompt and thoughtful attention. It’s rare to feel so well looked after while still enjoying privacy and independence. If you're looking for a unique and memorable stay in West Palm Beach, I can't recommend the Benzel Mansion highly enough. It’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again.

The entire property was unique ! What I loved most about it was being there with my best friends and enjoying Dave and Rod’s company and stories. I’d go back tomorrow if I could.

What an amazing place to stay! We rented the pool house and it was perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed the pool, the games provided, the yummy breakfast, and sitting in the gorgeous courtyard. However the best part were the hosts. They are so thoughtful, responsive, accomodating, and funny to boot! We absolutely plan to stay here again when we are back in town.

Amazing hosts and brilliant environment

The hosts were exceptionally helpful, friendly and accommodating. They cooked amazing breakfast and made all the guests feel welcomed and comfortable. The house was a feast for the eyes- the garden was packed full of amazing,interesting plants and seating areas and the house had an endless collection of interesting artefacts. Every corner of the house told a rich story of the owner’s love affair with hosting a wide assortment of people.

The GREATEST!

This is the greatest place to stay. So historic and such character. Filled with antiques - some over 200 years old! Rod and David do an incredible job!

Lovely hosts but I don’t believe we actually got the stay we paid for. Paid for a deluxe room with a pool view and a balcony and I believe we got on of the hosts actually bedrooms it was very loved in right down to the closet full of clothes and the Imodium next to the bed. Very over priced for what we received but the breakfast was great.

One of a kind experience

Amazing experience out performing all my previous visits to the area! The hosts are spectacular at anticipating your needs and providing for a wonderful experience. Great location and an opportunity to delve into history on the property itself.

Wonderful home in the perfect location!

We had a wonderful time! Rod and Dave were extremely accommodating. We learned so much history about the house. The location was close to everything we needed ! We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely property

Such a lovely B&B! Incredibly beautiful and lush outdoors space with the sound of fountains throughout. And a heated pool! The proprietors were incredibly friendly and made us a massive breakfast every morning. It was a special stay. I will definitely return to Benzel any time I'm in West Palm Beach!

Outstanding surprise.

I cannot overstate how much this bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations. My husband and I travel for work and typically avoid bed and breakfast, but I serendipitously overlooked the fact that it was one when I booked. The home is incredibly stylish and interesting, the hosts are delightful, warm, and helpful, the gardens are spectacular and I would return again at the smallest opportunity.

A charming b and b with wonderful hosts, Rod and Dave. The property is a quirky 1920’s mansion filled with antiques, the sound of water from the koi pond and fountains, and an inviting swimming pool. The experience is special due to Rod and Dave’s warmth and hospitality. They are two of the most open, friendly and accommodating people I’ve met. Delightful to chat with and enjoy Dave’s delicious food and feel embraced by their generosity. A wonderful place to relax and unwind. Thank you !
