"If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. "Everything about our stay was great, and we really enjoyed it. My only comment is regarding the information on Expedia, which states that pets stay free and parking is free. This wasn’t the case — the hotel charges £50 per day for a dog and £40 per day for parking. I’m not sure whether the incorrect information is coming from Expedia or the hotel, but I would recommend checking directly with the hotel rather than relying on the Expedia listing, as these are significant additional costs."
