「This is a beautiful place to stay. It is located on the West Bank about a 10 minute walk from the ferry. The room was spotless when I checked in. Beautiful view of the Nile. Staff was very friendly and helpful and was always available for any questions or assistance. Being located on the West Bank is an idea location since it is much more quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Luxor in the future.」

「The hotel explanation says wifi is free, but they want to charge you 25 US dollars. The explanation says there is a business center, but actually there is no center. It says there is SPA, but it doesn't exist. It says it will provide free shuttle connecting the ship and an airport/hotel, but it didn't. I waited for a driver but he didn't show up. I finally took a taxi but failed to catch the plane, and I had to purchase another plane and waited for it for another five hours. The worst was...

「This guesthouse is in a quiet and peaceful setting with beautiful views of the nearby temple complex and quaint village life. However this place has many drawbacks. First of all it is very hard to find; no taxi driver knows where it is and there isn’t even a sign. Second, we had two rooms and neither shower worked. 「This hotel is tucked away but when you enter it has lovely gardens, courtyard and the pool is great. The staff are very friendly and looked after us well. A small housekeeping tip gets you some very interesting towel creatures/flowers in your room! We enjoyed the food from the restaurant, which was very reasonably priced. The breakfast was good too. The room itself (we stayed quadruple) was as per the photo and very clean. Beds were comfortable and A/C was good. The location is great. ...
