This is a Bed N Breakfast property but wasn’t listed as such. That said, it’s a charming Victorian home with vintage charm and complementary decor and design. The management clearly pays attention to detail because everything one needs for comfort is there, even to the warm robes and slippers, the delicious nuts for snacking, water, teas, coffee , hot chocolate with condiments, and breakfast in the mini fridge. I’d definitely visit again.

Check in info sent by email self explanatory. Room was beautifully appointed with a lovely bath that had everything you could want. Even a little private porch to relax on. TV was easy to use and provided lots of cable channels to surf. Walking distance to quaint downtown area with several eateries and shops. AND a movie theater!

The room/bathroom was clean and the bed and linens quality and comfortable. Two negatives would be it’s not a typical bed and breakfast - more like a bed & snack. Breakfast for our 2 night stay consisted of 2 blueberry muffins, peach yogurt, small packs of peanut butter and orange juice which was in the room when we arrived Friday afternoon. The juice, yogurt and peanut butter was expired, so my guess is they hadn’t been recently placed or checked. My husband said the muffins were very good. The house is beautiful with all the stained glass windows but it’s obvious the primary focus is the spa. There is only one common area that I believe is more of a reception area for the spa which has seating for maybe 4 people. Our suite was #4 which was fine for sleeping - not so much for hanging out. My husband and I looked and felt a little like cabbage patch dolls in a room meant for Barbie’s. This is a perfect place for someone looking to make use of the spa facilities.

Beautiful and peaceful

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and is even more beautiful than we remember. We are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. The room is named “Le Jardin” and it lives up to its name.

Relaxing and Refreshing

We stayed in the Paris room which was just what the name would imply. Beautiful furnishings and decor in the B&B and very pleasant landscape surroundings --quite comfortable. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. I definitely recommend the on-site hot rocks spa treatment. The owner, staff and even outside local contractors were very kind to my elderly Mom. We've already recommended you to other family members. Thank you so much for a great stay.

Gave the stay as a gift to our daughter. Billed as B&B but they received two muffins when they arrived and some yogurt in the refrigerator. When they inquired about breakfast the next morning the desk gal replied, "you got it yesterday". No coffee, no other food, rather curt response. They were forced to eat at the local diner for breakfast and ended up spending $25 for breakfast on top of what we paid for the room. Very misleading.

Bed and NO Breakfast

Billed as bed and breakfast except… No breakfast. Arrived to find 4 small muffins in room which we thought was a nice touch. Little did we know that that was considered the “breakfast” for all three days! There were also a couple of yogurts in the fridge. Very disappointing. The room was cramped and not cleaned once during our three night/day stay. The place was once amazing and remains with tremendous potential but for the most expensive location in Wellsboro I would have expected better.

Wonderful B&B (non-traditional) Breakfast en-suite. sitting room and private balcony overlooking the garden. Great location 2 blocks from center of a walking town. Very quiet location. Great hosts, great privacy. The best of all is that there in an in-house full service spa! "Did somebody say, spa-vacation?" Unique shops and restaurants strolling distance away. Wonderful for a weekend getaway.

Helt fantastiskt!! Hög mysfaktor, härligt rum med skön säng. Om man ska ge någon förbättringspotential så gick det inte att stänga avloppet i badkaret helt, så det var svårt att bada.

The bathroom was tiny. Could not get out of the shower without hitting the sink or toilet. It was advertised as having a jetted tub. Our room barely had a bathroom. There was no dresser or shelves for clothes. The heat was controlled by management. One night was stifling hot. The other two were freezing.
