this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at so much so me and my husband end up cutting our trip early and went home due to how dirty this place was. Everywhere you looked In the room you'd find either a dead bug or alive one. Hair from whoever stayed previous was still in the bed (as well as on the pillows ) when we arrived. Luckily I had an extra comforter in my car so we slept on top of the motels blankets and covered up with our own. The ac was old and didn't even cool anything down at one point the room got to 85 degrees try sleeping in that while 8 months pregnant. And to top it off we attempted to use the pool, as soon as my husband put himself on the stairs the whole structure let go from the wall and began to float in the pool while he's still standing on the stairs we then had to use the ladder at the other end of the pool to get in because the main stairs were so unsafe. We tried to avoid the motel as long as we could the following day because of how nasty it was but we eventually had to go back after being in the sun all day we wanted to rest but looking around the room we both knew that wasn't gonna happen and we agreed to pack our bags and drive the 2 hours home.

Everything was really good and the staff was kind and friendly. The pool area was incredible as well as quiet. The one thing I would say was there were a fair amount of insects in the room

Good basic accommodation for a short stay. There were a number of flies and mosquitos in the room, because there was a noticeable gap under the door to the room and no screen on the bathroom window which was left slightly open. The A/C worked well, overall fine if you just need a place to sleep for the night.

Good location off main road. Traffic noise and train whistle was loud. Pool was nice, and check in staff friendly. Lots of restaurants nearby. Beaches close by too

Our floor in our room was pretty dirty. Not beach sand either which I could write off to a point. A moment out of the shower after our return from the pier and feet were absolutely black. Crust and dirt all over the floor. So wasn't the bath mat they provided to stand on after us showering. A few dead bugs didn't bother us. The beds were clean. Sheets were clean. A little loud. The speaker on the TV in our room was blown so it was a bit fuzzy to listen to at night before winding down. We also had no air conditioner in our room. At the time the fan was the only part working and the AC was making some questionable sounds and wouldn't turn over so we decided to turn off for the night. We only were staying for the night 4th of July. So nothing that could be fixed during our one night stay. Owner was super friendly. Was not able to speak on other staff during our short time. Will probably try to book somewhere else in a much earlier time frame next time. It's nearly been five nights and I have yet to receive our $50 deposit back. Hoping to hear back on that. Also our 5-year-old accompanied us And we were charged a $16 fee on top of the 150+ although the property states that the fees for ages over five not under five. So slightly misleading. Otherwise it wasn't my worst experience but I was hoping for better.

Let’s start with Cons…. It’s July 4th weekend and the pool was not available although it’s listed an available amenity. I only came here because the pool was said to be open. Imagine my surprise when they tell me it is not. 🙄 The TVs in the room did not work. There was no cable, no direct tv, nothing. Pros: Rooms were clean, although there were the one or two bugs. Bathrooms were clean and fresh clean towels were provided. The train did the scare us a few times but it was fine. For the future, you should list on your site or send a message to guests when they reserve that the pool is not working.

I apprecuated the fact rhat they were accomodating to my situation. I did not like the fact that it was noisy up til midnight, there were bugs in the place, and a bath towel was not in the room upon arrival.

Run down, little to no heat on a night in the 40’s. Cheap, hard mattress and barely stuffed pillows. Had a weird old musty/moldy smell. Drapes partly hanging off A broken rod that wouldn’t allow them to remotely close all the way (huge window right on ground level) weak ass Wi-Fi that constantly cut out. I will say for what it was it seemed clean and had shockingly high water pressure in the shower. Not so much in the sink or toilet though. Little to no lighting outside. I was looking for a cheap, minute room so, whatever, it was what it was.
