"We stayed here for 2 nights to explore Prince Edward County. The property is located just before the bridge to cross over to there so very conveniently located. The staff here were excellent, and very friendly and helpful, from the front desk who checked us in (even as he was about to leave for the day, he came back when he saw us waiting in line, just to get us checked in quick, it was very much appreciated), to the night time desk staffer who kindly printed up a day pass for Sandbanks Park on his printer for me, to the room service who were very friendly, and to the lady who took care of keeping the breakfast stocked and who made my waffles. It's obvious this place is short staffed, but we genuinely appreciated everyone's help, even as they attended to all the other many guest's requests. The indoor pool was heated which was nice, the outdoor pool was not, and at the end of summer here was too cold for us, but had a nice patio to lie in the sun. If I had to guess, management is trying to get by with the bare minimum to keep the place going. Some more staff on busy weekends, and more attention to some of the smaller problems in the rooms and general facilities would go a long way. Overall it was a good stay, and hope they can make these small improvements because it's a nice property and location. And again, thanks to the wonderful staff."

"This chic hotel boutique is a gem! The friendly staff made us feel right at home. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the sauna offered a relaxing escape with a stunning view of the lake. The brunch was delicious, and we loved that everything was within walking distance of cafes and restaurants. Their attention to detail made our wedding anniversary truly special."

"Quiet country escape. Peaceful, charming and welcoming. It's a little out in the country, no amenities without driving. Nothing is too far in PEC. The hot tub was fabulous, fire pit and back deck are very relaxing and top notch cared for. I enjoyed the full sky of stars and the perseids meteor shower. a fabulous stay"

"Cozy, clean, practical space, and we enjoyed using the living room, dining table and kitchen, as well as the entrance room. Country home feel throughout, comfortable beds with lovely linens and towels. Easy parking and as stated quick walk to the public beach; bring some chairs in a bag and enjoy! The welcome gift was a nice surprise and much appreciated as was the provided tea and coffee."

"Randy was very informative at check inn! Older cottage but decent for the price to stay. On water which was very nice atmosphere! Had what we needed for our stay there! Will return maybe checking one of their other cabins."
